Multiplication

Multiplication means counting in equal amount of groups.

To help us count, we can arrange the objects in ‘arrays`.

5 + 5 + 5

´3 groups of 5’ = 3 x 5 = 15

Can you draw the array

for this multiplication

sentence?

Reasoning is when we have to think about how

we are going to solve a problem and explain our

thinking and strategies. Use your reasoning skills

to explain how you worked out the answers!

How did you work this out? Explain your reasoning.
