English FUN PoemEins zwei drei vier? Agh Scheisse

I cannot even remember how many I have killed.

Have I fulfilled my life? Am I rising?

My swastika is spreading and I am so thrilled.

But why do I feel like I cannot die yet?

I have my iconic mo and my own salute!

Is dictator of Nazi Germany as much as it gets?

I did make millions of that race go kaput!

Aha! I am leader of a whole nation of killers.

Therefore, I am God. God of the pure, master race.

I can now rest in peace because I have built these critters!

Wait. Am i I just saying this because the Red Army is at our base?

I surely dont want my pure blood spilt

At the hands of the impure Red Army.

My precious dark red ooze full of guilt

Incasing their bayonets, making a trophy.

No way am I going to let them enjoy MY last moments.

I am going to commit suicide by gunshot and poison

And kill myself with cyanide my very own weapon.

I am Adolf Hitler and ich wered nicht fallen!

I have based my poem of Mad, bad and dangerous to know on Adolf Hitler as he was seen as one of

the most infamous figures in all of history. I wanted to base it on him because I wanted to venture

throughout his mind, especially of what he thought of his life and if he was ever satisfied. I liked how I

put imagery on blood as I wanted the readers to visualize wartime which resulted in bloodshed. I put in

words from the German language at the beginning and end of the poem as I want to remind the readers

of Hitlers nationalism. I have also used the word I various times as I want to point out Hitlers

narcissism. I kept the structure simple with 4 lines per verse and a rhyming pattern of ABAB per verse.

This makes the sentences quite short and feels like the way a dictator would talk (confident, aggressive)

(short sentences bring upon a sense of intensity)

* - Nazis believed they were entitled to world domination as they thought they were the purest race

which originated from Atlanta

Translation

-one, two, three, four? Agh damn

-killed countless amounts

-looking back at life in final moments

-Hitler thinking dictator is nothing

-Around 5.5 million jews

-Thinking optimistically

-Narcissism (madness)

-Refers to critters as if he was

something more than humans

-Mind tricking himself into thinking

-Pure bloods = Nazi *

-Anything not Nazi (Russians) =

impure

-Blood, Hitler realizing his mistakes.

-Blood on sword, considered trophy

to kill a Nazi

-Full of pride, even when near death

-There are 3 reports of Hitler dying

and it is unsure which one is true

-I am Adolf Hitler and I will not fall!
