Provide extra paper so that he or shecan repeat the exercise using different examples.One way of making sure that a child hasunderstood the work is to ask him or her toset a similar exercise for you and then mark it.SpellingMany of the activities are to help with spelling. One of thebest ways of practising is called LOOK-SAY-COVER-WRITE- CHECK. The child looks carefully at the word and says italoud. Centre card spelling gamesCAREFULLY PULL OUT THE CARD FROM THECENTRE OF THE BOOK AND CUT UP INTO24 DOUBLE-SIDED CARDS.This will give you a blue pack or a yellow pack depending onwhich side you choose to use.
