As you all have seen the boards you may be wondering what the “Client Advocate Team” is. The Client Advocate Team is a national project that has been implemented at all of our Presort locations. The Client Advocate Team at our facility consist of 15 participants from all 3 shifts. Both Paul Jones and Ken Chambers have been selected as the Client Advocate Champions and will lead the team in upcoming projects. The goals of the Client Advocate Team is increase employee engagement, increase client loyalty, and reduce employee turnover. Even though you may not interact with our clients face to face, everyone is part of Customer Service. Every department including billing, production, quality control, transportation, maintenance, and dispatch plays a major role in Customer Service. Each month the client advocate team will meet and work on a Client Care Project. We will also be installing a television in the employee break room to increase external and internal employee communications. Our first project consists of creating a damage mail process to control the amount of damage mail pieces that get returned back to our clients. The Client Advocate Team also assisted in the painting the Employee break room .If you have any questions or concerns regarding our clients or ways that we can improve service for our clients please don’t hesitate to speak with a member of the team!

Meet Dawn Thomacos

Our new Facilities Manager Dawn has written a short bio about herself.

“Some of you have already met me, I am Dawn Thomacos. I am the new Safety and Facilities Manager at Pitney Bowes Presort here in Hartford. I recently held the position of Assistant Director of Facilities at Community Renewal Team, Inc., a non-profit organization. I am bringing 19 years of facility and safety management experience from the public and private sectors. I am excited and thrilled to have this opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise with this great company. In my free time, I’ve produced and performed family entertainment on TV and in live shoes. My husband and I also create special effects for charitable haunted house attractions.”

Please welcome Dawn as she adjusts to her new duties.
