THE BEST RELATIONSHIPS IN THE WORLD WORK IN TRUE HARMONY, TRUE BALANCE AND OF COURSE - TRUE LOVE.Hans Ole is the uncompromising founder of Vitus Audio and he’s ruthless in his pursuit of the best possible sound, nothing is allowed to interfere with the original sound of the recording - it’s all about music. Hans Ole spent more than 8 years developing the first amplifiers before he released them in 2003. Probably not a period the bank was too happy about, but this dedication is what defines Hans Ole as a person. From the very first hi-fi equipment he bought as a teenager, almost 25 years ago, Hans Ole was always tearing the products apart to improve their performance.
After just a few years working with his own hi-fi equipment, building his own speakers, burning of his amps and learning as much as possible about hi-fi equipment, Hans Ole began his studies to become an electronic engineer. Hans Ole spent all his spare time and money on building his own hi-fi products and modifying other manufactures equipment during his studies.
After graduation back in 1990 Hans Ole worked for different electronic companies for several years, before joining Texas instruments in 1998 as Area Sales Manager for Denmark and Norway. His responsibility was covering not only technical sales, but just as important giving customers an in-depth technical understanding of the different solutions TI could provide, and on top of this - technical seminars and workshops.
The 6 years he spent at Texas Instruments gave Hans Ole a priceless deep technical knowledge and experience with making “leading edge technology” and communicating the pros and cons of different solutions. It’s these many years of working professionally with electronics, the lifelong interest in building hi-fi and Hans Ole’s dedication that enables Vitus Audio to make some of the best hi-fi products in the world.
Hans Ole’s passion for hi-fi is fuelled by his love for music, as a teenager he played drums in a rock’n roll band and mainly listened to the same type of music, before he turned his attention to karate. He was trained by the internationally acclaimed sensei Raffi Liven, and with his usual determination Hans Ole did well in both local and international tournaments.
But since the establishment of Vitus Audio in 1995 Hans Ole has focussed all his spare time on developing the Brand and the first products. Over the years Hans Ole has mellowed a little, Rock’n roll and Karate has been replaced by any type of music on good quality recordings and perhaps even a glass of red wine on the couch.
Hans-Ole Vitus, founder and President.

UI-CORE TRANSFORMERMost manufacturers continue to use the popular toroidal transformer as they are relatively cheap and compact in size. After extensively testing many types of transformer technologies ourselves including toroidal, it was obvious that we needed to go in a different direction. The only solution for us was to design our own UI-core transformer and after four years of development, we have done just that. Remember that a transformer is a key component and the UI-core transformer in our products is exceptional! While incredibly expensive, large and very heavy, our UI-core transformer brings increased stability to the soundstage, stronger, deeper dynamics and firmer control of demanding loudspeakers. We prove that power output tells only half the story... think quality and not quantity!
TOPOLOGYFor the small signal stages we use ultra linear, low noise bipolar transistors paired with high precision resistors. For large signal stages we use the best possible linear transistors.
We use absolutely no global feedback and have spent many hours optimising PCB layout ensuring tracks are routed in the best possible way for exceptional speed and bandwidth.
MEASURESophisticated measuring equipment is used throughout the whole design process, which helps us reach a certain point. However to complete the journey, we use the best measurement tool known to man - human ears!
Field tests have a huge impact on the final results. However instead of inviting the test panel to our demo room for a short period of time, we demo our products in their rooms, on their equipment – leaving the products for a longer period of time.
This ensures real value in the feedback we get on our products performance.
EMOTION ENGINEVitus Audio products are created for the music and not for a price point. Many of the components used in our products are custom designed and made exclusively for Vitus Audio. Why?
The answer is a simple one... because most of today’s components do not meet the strict engineering tolerances that we demand in-order to deliver the highest standards of music performance.
We don't compromise and we do not believe that music lovers should either...

FITAs with the electronics, our mechanical design leaves nothing to chance as we use no magnetic material for our chassis and only pure aluminium/stainless steel. We also choose our partners very carefully, seeking only specialists in their respected fields. Every single part goes through a rigorous quality control process after each stage in production. We even hand carry all parts between the different manufactures to avoid any form of damage during transportation. With our final rigorous quality control process, only the parts that actually make it through this extreme process are assembled (all in-house) to create a product that will stand the test of time.
QUALITYBefore any product leaves our factory, it undergoes a thorough testing period of approximately one week. During this period we take all the circuitry to its absolute limits, in both temperature, signal conditioning and supply rails.
When this full week of stressing the electronics is completed – we leave the product operating for another week – securing optimal performance in sound – and functionality of the test circuitry.
CAREEvery Vitus Audio piece is carefully packed in protective foam, which is then housed in substantial packaging suitable for transport. Our larger/heavier products even have a dedicated wooden crate, which has been built specially for that product.
No matter where in the world you are, you can be sure that your Vitus Audio product will arrive to you safely.
FINISHVitus Audio products are as visually beautiful as the music they make. A contemporary design that will complement any room perfectly. Simple, clean lines create a timeless piece of craftsmanship.
The understated elegance of every Vitus piece draws the listener even deeper into their music and pride of ownership comes as standard.

Listening to music or watching a movie is not the same for everyone. The reason why, isbecause we process audio and video on a subconscious level. In other words, it’s an
emotional experience. When the content is produced in a natural way, true to theintentions of the composer or producer, you might just get goose bumps. That’s where
you want to be. Some manufacturers create equipment with a distinct signature. Addinga certain character to the sound is not the same as striving for natural reproduction.
Here at Vitus Audio we want to get as close to the original as possible. We puttechnology at the service of the music. It boils down to stand out, to rise above
mediocrity. Just like you’re not satisfied with that average car. You want more out of life:superior technology, breakthrough innovation, functional design and stellar
performance. There are only a few manufacturers out there, which can produce cars thatmeet these expectations. We would like to think that we are the best-suited partner ifyou’re looking for the same things in the audiovisual landscape. Our Reference Series
offer a true entry in the world of high end. The range consists of 6 products. Feel free toexplore them. Each of the Reference Series products offers expressivity, emotion and
finesses. Are you ready to make the right choice?

CD TRANSPORT
The detailed manual work carried out on the internal components of a watch is wherehand finishing reaches a rare pinnacle. Getting a brand seal requires that movements be
made using advanced technologies, artisanal know-how, authenticity and exemplaryfinishing. After machining, every movement component passes through or is finished by
human hands and often decorated. Specific surfaces can be so minuscule that they’rebarely perceptible to the naked eye and craftsmen work with binocular microscopes.
This scrupulous fine-tuning is carried out by consummate craftsmen whose raison d’êtreis the integrity and precision of what they do, and whose fulfillment comes from the fact
that everything inside your watch has been honed by them to move with hushedprowess. The quality of finish determines not just how well the part will perform its
function, but for how long. The MP-T201 CD Transport is like a perfectly shapedchronograph: a precise, accurate and high-performance instrument.

DAC / PREAMP
If a case is the body that houses a complex structure, then the dial is the very face of awatch, into which we gaze. It’s also what allows the hundreds of components inside a
watch to make sense. The dial is a wafer of metal that interprets for us that tiny world ofwheels, levers, pinions, and springs beneath it, separating them from the hands andglass. Making a dial is less a branch of watchmaking, more a dedicated craft in itself.
Since the dial is the part of the watch that speaks to us, it must be not only beautiful andharmonious, but also clearly legible. Dial makers and finishers use age-old handcraftsmanship
skills, alongside trade secrets passed down through generations. A dialtakes four to six months of production process work, and from 50 to 200 operations,
including decorative techniques. The MP-D201 DAC is like a perfectly shapedchronograph: a precise, accurate and high-performance instrument.

Enameling is one of the most high-risk of the rare handcrafts. The precarious fusing ofpowdered glass at ultra-high temperatures can produce heartbreaking disasters but, when successful, the result is luminous beauty, from designs in radiant, jewel-brightcolors that will never dull, to lustrous, gently traditional looks. Over time, this delicate
skill has become an endangered one. It has been preserved and nurtured and is used tocreate breathtakingly lovely pieces. The technique involves grinding colored glass orenamel pigments to a talc-like powder, mixing it with water or oil and painting the
resulting paste meticulously (sometimes using a brush as fine as a single hair) onto aprepared metal surface. Once dry, the paste is fired in a kiln at temperatures of around
850°C, so that the powdered glass or pigment melts to form a new, impregnable surfaceand fuses to the metal base. The MP-P201 Phono Stage is like a perfectly shaped
chronograph: a precise, accurate and high-performance instrument.

INTRODUCED 2Q17
First, the form of the case is created using a press. The rough shape of a part is cut from astrip of metal and then a metal punch is used to push the piece into an anvil-like die (a
metal block of mold shapes), where it’s forged to subtly refine its dimensions. Repeatedcareful pressing gradually achieves the definitive shape of the case. The case component
is then refined by state-of-the-art machinery. At the same time, its serial number isengraved inside the back of the case. The case is then hand-finished. This process is
called ‘fine working’. Any metal residue is filed away, attachments are soldered, hingesare made for cases with dust covers and openings are adjusted for smooth fit.
Preparations are made for polishing. Under no circumstances will traces, resulting frommanufacturing process deviations, be tolerated. The MP-L201 Line Stage is like a
perfectly shaped chronograph: a precise, accurate and high-performance instrument.

Finishing the case and bracelet that will hold a watch is extremely intricate workrequiring a multitude of complex procedures. It’s just as important as the creation of themovement itself. Crafting a case is an extremely challenging job demanding the labor of
about 20 specialists performing around 50 operations. Creating a metal bracelet alsorequires a large number of complicated processes. The exterior of a timepiece must
reflect the excellence of the movement inside. They must be perfectly functional andensure the ultimate in comfort and convenience. This is why such great importance is
placed upon elegant forms, noble materials and the perfection of finishes and decorativetechniques. The MP-S201 Stereo Power Amplifier is like a perfectly shaped
chronograph: a precise, accurate and high-performance instrument.

The connoisseur watch will have an elaborate, jewel-like finish performed entirely byhand, with an ingenuity, vigilance and respect no machine on earth can. Every singledetail is taken into account to achieve the best conceivable result. All elements of a
timepiece, including the movement, the inside and outside of the case, dial and pushpieces, are immaculately finished. Methods range from beveling and polishing to the
handsome circular graining, or the gently abrasive pressing. These deft procedures maybe the most time and labor intensive part of the watch. The result? A wide array of fine
decorations and subtle enhancements, which enrich the functionality and aesthetics of apiece, as well as ensuring beauty and precision of a watch for years to come. The MPP201
