Fairclough Approaches

Falling asleepThis word choice is to emphasize on how simple the

mistake that minister made. But this simple mistake will lead to a big punishment if it is connected with their leader.

Talked back to the leaderThis is also to prove that the North Korean

president don’t want any oppose in his order. Execution was watched by hundreds of

officials at a public execution site.This is an action to make all North Korea

citizen builds fear towards their own president. By doing this execution in public site, the citizen will not dare to oppose the president.

The highest-profile case came in late 2013 when Jang Song Thaek, an influential advisor and an uncle to Mr. Kim, was executed for treasonThis is in the last line in the news, this is to

make a flashback on North Korea president’s decision. That have the same similarity with the last case, executed, in the past.

North KoreaThere is also a possibility that North Korea is

beyond this news. North Korea wants to show the world on how strict their regimen is. They also want to show that their leader should be feared. That no one can oppose their leader even in a slight thing.

South KoreaThere is also a possibility on South Korea who

beyond this news. As we know, South Korea is the one who report this event. In this case South Korea wants to show the world that North Korea regime is not on a good regime.

Impact to the worldThis news have a big impact to the social.

Either to North Korea citizen or other countries. From the beginning, we already know that North Korea is a country that stand alone. North Korea is close any access for their citizen to the other world. By this news, there will be two effects. First, the world start to develop fear towards North Korea. Second, the world starts to take some action towards North Korea decision.
