THE PRESENT PERFECT

THE PAST PARTICIPLE: The past participle is one of the principal parts of a verb. It is used in the PRESENT PERFECT tense, the PAST PERFECT tense and passive. The past participle of regular verbs is the same as the SIMPLE PAST form: both end in -ed.:

YET: until now, still; until the present time; The idea of YET: Something did not happened before now, but it may happen in the future. Example: I expected the mail an hour ago, but it hasn’t come yet. (Yet is used in negative and question sentences.)
