June 30th - ARRIVE in Cairo around 11:30AM. Car to Sarahs apartment, leave my bags, head over to Khan-al-Khalili bazaar, Al-Azhar Mosque, maybe Zamalek, spend rest of the day there, hang out with Mark at night.

July 1st - Pyramids of Giza/Sphinx, Memphis/Saqqara/Dashur, stay over with Mark again

July 2nd - One more day in Cairo, visit the Tahrir Square/Egyptian Museum anything I missed the day before, take in Cairo culture, stay over with Mark (or fly to Aswan late in day/early eve?)

July 3rd fly to Aswan (Flight #1), see local sights (High Dam/Unfinished Obelisk/Animalia), stay at hotel.

July 4th Early morning (4AM) caravan to Abu Simbel, come back, relax at hotel, get on boat.

July 5th - Begin Nile Cruise portion of trip - sail to Kom Ombo, see Temple there, continue cruise.

July 6th - Sail to Edfu, see Temple of Horus, then sail to Luxor

July 7th - Luxor West Bank. Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, the Colossi of Memnon, and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

July 8th - Luxor East Bank, Karnak & Luxor Temples. Then up to Dendara/Temple of Hathor. Then take car/bus to Hurghada. Stay overnight. (Cannot fly direct from Luxor to Sharm, must first stop in Cairo, flights only go at 12:15AM or 6:30AM and cost $210)

July 9th - Fly to Sharm-el-Sheikh (Flight #2) $60 on Egyptair. Check in at hotel, snorkel.

July 10th More snorkeling in Sharm and Ras Mohammed National Park. Late night pick-up and drive to Mt. Sinai

July 11th - Climb Mt. Sinai pre-dawn, watch sunrise, then visit St. Katherine's monastery. Bus back to Sharm. Flight to Cairo (Flight #3), stay over with Mark.

July 12th - Depart Egypt for USA
