• Eero Saarinen was born on August 20, 1910.

HE IS A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS AND THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES AND ARTS. EERON WON DIFFERENT PRIZES. IN 1953 HE WAS AWARDED THE GRAND PRIZE FOR ARCHITECTURE AT THE BOSTON ARTS FESTIVAL. IN 1955 AND 1956, THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS RECEIVED THE HONORARY AWARD.

GATEWAY ARCH THE GATEWAY ARCH, BUILT IN MISSOURI, IS BUILT AS AN ARCH. THIS ARCH WAS BUILT AS A MONUMENT TO THE WESTWARD EXPANSION OF THE UNITED STATES. IT IS THE LONGEST MAN-MADE MONUMENT IN THE UNITED STATES. DESIGNED BY ARCHITECT EERO SAARINEN AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEER HANNSKARL BANDEL.

• Eero Saarinen designed the monument in his work with mathematical figures. The center of the triangular bases began to form a wide range of belts extending to the center. On 1 September 1947, applications for the first stage were accepted by the jury. E. Saarinen set the arch height of 190 m to 580 feet. Each wall has a stainless steel skin, 50.2 m per upper side, 16 m narrows per side. Kemer has been left empty for visitors to place a unique tram system. There is also an observation deck at the top.

• Construction began on 12 February 1963. Completed on 28 October 1965. The monument was opened to public on 10 July 1967.

• Eero Saarinen designed the monument with mathematical figures.

• The gateway is designed in each trolley with octagonal sections and five-seat seats.
