ACTIVITIES

1) Textbook development for K-12;

2) Developing e-learning infrastructure at K-12 schools;

3) Creating digital educational resources for K-12;

4) Elaboration of standards for creating educational resources;

5) Development of ICT infrastructure at Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools network;

6) International cooperation in the field of educational resources and technologies;

7) Adaptation and customization of existing wide range of digital learning resources.

MISSION AND VISION

MISSION To create high quality learning resources and ICT environment that are easily accessible and contribute substantially to the improvement of education.

VISION

Kazakh, Russian and English-medium learning resources developed or sourced by ERC are the preferred option among students, teachers and parents. Students and teachers engaging with ERC resources enjoy high levels of success. Students use the electronic and hard-copy learning resources to explore and challenge their thinking, to learn with and from others, and engage with the world. The learning resources support students in being honest, constructive and engaged citizens who bring integrity, critical thought and diversity of opinion.

1. Quality assessment of developed textbooks and digital learning

resources, participation in focus group discussions;

2. Training for NIS teams (ERC, CEP, CPM, CoE, Intellectual schools) on

quality assessment process;

3. Content development for ERC digital learning resources;

4. Recommendations for subscription, purchase and adaptation of existing

learning materials to support educational process.
