Grace-Dr Martens Interview: We took a lot of different takes for this interview, because Grace kept on laughing, but this helped us to practice with the camera and the different angles. When editing it, we had to zoom in close to the voice bed to pick exactly out where we would be cutting out all the parts that we didn't need, we didn't use some of the questions that she answered and this was because she didn't make it clear what she was talking about without the question being there. Grace-Dr MartensInterview: We took a lot of different takes for this interview, because Grace kept on laughing, but this helped us to practice with the camera and the different angles. When editing it, we had to zoom in close to the voice bed to pick exactly out where we would be cutting out all the parts that we didn't need, we didn't use some of the questions that she answered and this was because she didn't make it clear what she was talking about without the question being there. We also had to cut out all the questions that we asked so the audience couldn't hear it, but will still know what we were talking about by the detailed answers that was given.Cutaways: The cut aways were all took by ourselves, as we went round the shop we thought of different things that would relate to what Grace was talking about, we then cut them up and put them in where there was jump cuts so they were covered by relevant images.

Ian-The Shoe MarketInterview: We took three shots of Ian's interview, so we could pick out the best bits of his interview and the questions that he answered the best and in the most detail. He also stuttered a lot so we had to cut that out but be very careful with what we cut out because he spoke fast where this happened.Cutaways: We made Ian do a lot of different cutaways and filmed around the shop so we had a variety of cutaways to chose from where there was jump cuts.

Joan Turley-Retired CleanerInterview: This was at her house, so it was hard to get the lighting right, so we had to cut out the parts where the lighting was different, and we also filmed this more than once to make sure that we had all the information that we needed. We cut out most of this interview because the majority of it wasn't relevant. We then made it into a smooth flow and it flowed through without any jump cuts.Cutaways: We had a different variety here, but we also used archive material as we couldn't get that particular picture that was needed.

Debra Freckleton-Shoe HorderInterview: We first filmed this, and then the sound didnt pick up so we had to do it again, with less information so then we created more questions to get more information from Debra, there was laughing and pauses between most of the questions so we had to zoom in on the voice bed and take extracts out of it to make it flow.Cutaways: There was only one cut in this so we just got one cutaway which was Debra walking in heels that she speaks about during the interview.

Phil Squires-Forklift DriverInterview: We filmed a lot for this interview but the majority of it was just repetition so we took out the repetition and added in the bits that were more important. Also if we didn't cut this down it would of been over the 5 minute time that we had to fill.Cutaways: We took a lot of cutaways of Phil's shoes so we could pick the best one, we had to shorten it because it was to long for the gap that it needed to fill.

Claire Mclaughlin-PodiatristInterview: We found that this interview was time consuming and people were not going to sit there and watch it all because overall the interview was filmed over 9 minutes, and also would of went over our time limit with just one interview, it also repeats itself a lot and didn't give us a lot of information, so the information that it did give us that wasn't repeated, we cut and put it into the documentary.Cutaways: We couldn't get any cutaways that suited this topic so we just filmed shoes that we had gathered together because it was still relevant to the whole documentary.
