1. Important safety instructionsWhen using your equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury, including the following:1.Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the product.2.Adult setup is required.3.This product is intended as an aid. For example, do not use it next to a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub or swimming pool, or in a wet basement or shower.6.CAUTION: Use only the batteries indicated in this manual. There may be a risk of explosion if a wrong type of battery is used for the parent unit. Use only the supplied rechargeable battery.7.Use only the adapters included with this product. Incorrect adapter polarity or voltage can seriously damage the product. Baby unit power adapter: Input 100-240V AC 50/60 Hz; output: 6V DC 450 mA; Parent unit power adapter: Input 100-240V AC 50/60 Hz; output: 6V DC 450 mA.8.The power adapters are intended to be correctly oriented in a vertical or floor mount position. The prongs are not designed to hold the plug in place if it is plugged into a ceiling, under-the-table or cabinet outlet.9.Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.10.Unplug the power cords before replacing batteries.11.Do not cut off the power adapters to replace them with other plugs, as this causes a hazardous situation.12.Do not allow anything to rest on the power cords. Do not install this product where the cords may be walked on or crimped.13.This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. Cautions1.Use and store the product at a temperature between 10oC and 39oC.2.Do not expose the product to extreme cold, heat or direct sunlight. Do not put the product close to a heating source.3.Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat such as bright sunshine or fire.4.Make sure the baby unit(s) and the adapter cord(s) are always out of reach of the baby, at least 1 metre away from the baby or crib, to avoid a possible strangulation hazard.5.Never place the baby unit(s) inside the baby’s crib or playpen.6.Never cover the baby unit(s) or parent unit with anything such as a towel or a blanket.7.Other electronic products may cause interference with your audio monitor. Try installing your audio monitor as far away from these electronic devices as possible: wireless routers, radios, cellular telephones, intercoms, room monitors, televisions, personal computers, kitchen appliances and cordless telephones.

2. SET UPTHE baby monitor2.1 Package ContentsThe package contains the following items:• 1 Parent unit • 1 Baby unit • 1 Parent unit battery compartment cover• 2 Batteries for parent unit• 2 Power adapters• 1 User manual

2.2 Baby unit installationThe baby unit is powered by mains power. To connect the baby unit to the mains power:

1.Choose either power adapter that comes with the package. Insert the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC socket on the side of the baby unit.2.Connect the other end of the power adapter to a suitable mains power socket.


2.3 Parent unit installationThe package comes with two rechargeable batteries. You can power up the parent unit by using two rechargeable batteries or by connecting it to the mains power. However, even if the parent unit is connected to the mains power, we recommend you to also install the rechargeble batteries. This guarantees the continual operation in case of a power outage.

To set up the parent unit:1.Remove the battery compartment cover. 2.Install the supplied rechargeable batteries into the battery compartment, matching the polarity markings (+ and -). 3.Replace the battery compartment cover.4.Insert the DC plug of the other power adapter into the DC socket on the side of the parent unit.5.Connect the other end of the power adapter to a suitable mains power socket.6.The Charging LED lights up indicating the parent unit is charging.

3.3 Parent unit lights

3 green lights and 2 red lights indicating the sound level detected by the baby unit.Green lights indicate a moderate level of sound is detected.Red lights indicate a higher level of sound is detected.More lights turn on when the sound level detected increases.

Off when the parent unit is off.On in green steadily when the parent unit is on and is linked to the baby unit.Flashes in green when there is no link between the baby unit and parent unit.

On in red steadily when the parent unit is charging.Flashes in red when the battery is low.

3.4 Parent unit display

Connection status- displays when strong signal strength is detected between the baby unit and the parent unit.- or displays when moderate signal strength is detected between the baby unit and the parent unit.- displays when the link between the baby unit and the parent unit is lost.


Lullaby- Displays when a lullaby is playing at the baby unit.

Sound alert- Displays when the sound alert is set to on.- Flashes when the sound alert is triggered.

Speaker volume- Displays when the speaker is turned on.- Displays when the speaker is turned off.

Night light- Displays when night light is turned on.- Displays when night light is turned off.

Battery status- animates when the battery is charging.- displays solid when the battery is fully charged.- displays when the battery is low and needs charging.

3.5 Positioning and operating range3.5.1 Position the audio monitorPlace the parent unit within the operating range of the baby unit. We recommend the parent unit is at least 1.5 metres away from the baby unit to avoid audio feedback. If you still experience audio feedback, move the parent unit and the baby unit farther apart. NOTESIf the signal is poor, try moving the parent and/or the baby unit to different positions in the rooms.It is the caregiver’s responsibility to stay close enough to take care of any eventuality.


3.5.2 Test your audio monitor before useIt is important to test the audio monitor when it is installed initially, and at regular times thereafter. Test your parent unit and baby units if they have not been used for a long time or you suspect they are defective.

To test your audio monitor:Place the parent unit and the baby unit in the same room to test the product. Make sure the baby unit is at least 1.5 metres away from the parent unit.Press and hold on the baby unit until the Power indicator light turns on.Press and hold on the parent unit until the Power indicator turns on steadily. The parent unit plays sound detected from the baby unit. Your audio monitor is now ready for use.

NoteIf no connection can be established, the Power indicator light on the parent unit flashes in green.

4. USING YOURBABYMONITOR4.1 Using the menu4.1.1 To enter the parent unit menu:

1. Press MENU when the parent unit is not in use.2. Press or to scroll to the desired feature. Press MENU to enter that

feature menu.3. Press or to scroll to the desired option. Press MENU to confirm your

selection. You hear a confirmation tone.4. To return to the previous menu, press .

4.2 LanguageYou can select a language (English, Turkish, French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese) to be used in all screen displays. The screen display language is preset to English.To change the language:

1. Press MENU when the parent unit is not in use.2. Press or to scroll to LANGUAGE, then press MENU.3. Press or to choose ENGLISH, DEUTSCH, FRANCAIS, ITALIANO,


ESPANOL or PORTUGUES, then press MENU to confirm your selection. The screen displays SAVED. You hear a confirmation tone.

4.3 Sound alertWhen the parent unit speaker volume is set to off, you can set the parent unit to beep whenever the baby unit detects sounds above the preset threshold volume. To set the sound alert:

1. Press MENU when the parent unit is not in use.2. Press or to scroll to SOUND ALERT, then press MENU.3. If the current sound alert setting is OFF, the screen displays ON? If the

current sound alert setting is ON, the screen displays OFF?. 4. Press MENU to confirm your selection. The screen displays SAVED. You

hear a confirmation tone.-OR-Press to exit the menu. The current setting remains unchanged.

4.4 NightlightWhen this feature is turned on, the nightlight on the baby unit gives a soft glow for comfort and allows easy location in the dark. To set the nightlight:

1. Press MENU when the parent unit is not in use.2. Press or to scroll to NIGHTLIGHT, then press MENU.3. If the current nightlight setting is OFF, the screen displays ON? If the

current nightlight setting is ON, the screen displays OFF?. 4. Press MENU to confirm your selection. The screen displays SAVED.

You hear a confirmation tone.-OR-Press to exit the menu. The current setting remains unchanged.

4.5 ResetYou can restore all the adjustable settings back to their original factory settings.To reset the baby monitor:

1. Press MENU when the parent unit is not in use.2. Press or to scroll to RESET, then press MENU.3. The screen displays CONFIRM? Press MENU to confirm. The screen

displays SAVED. You hear a confirmation tone.-OR- Press to exit the menu. The current setting remains unchanged.

Baby unitoperation5.1 Power the baby unit on or off

• Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn on the baby unit. The Power indicator light flashes once and turns on.

• Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn off the baby unit. The Power indicator light turns off.

5.2 Adjust speaker volumeThere are five volume levels (Level 1 to Level 5) on the baby unit. To adjust the speaker volume:


Press to increase and to decrease the volume of the baby unit. NoteYou will hear three beeps when the volume level has reached the minimum or maximum level.5.3 NightlightYou can turn the nightlight on or off from the baby unit. To turn the nightlight on or off:

• Press to turn nightlight on. • Press again to turn nightlight off.

5.4 Play lullabyThere are 5 lullabies to choose from. The selected lullaby plays repeatedly. 5.4.1 To play lullabies:Press to play lullabies. 5.4.2 To stop lullabies:Press again to stop playing lullabies.5.4.3 To skip to the next lullabies:Press to skip to the next lullaby.NoteLullaby playback is paused when the parent unit is talking to the baby unit. Lullaby playback resumes when the parent unit finishes using the TALK feature.5.5 Power the parent unit on or off

• Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn on the parent unit. The Power indicator light turns on.

• Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn off the parent unit. The Power indicator light turns off.

5.6 Adjust speaker volumeThere are five volume levels (Level 1 to Level 5) plus VOLUME OFF on parent unit. When adjusting volume, the current volume level is displayed on the screen and also indicated by the sensitivity indicator LEDs.When the speaker voulme is set to OFF, the icon displays.To adjust the speaker volume:Press to increase and to decrease the volume of the parent unit.NoteYou will hear two beeps when the volume level has reached the minimum or maximum level.5.7 Talk to the baby unitYou can broadcast messages from the parent unit to the baby unit.To talk to the baby unit:Press and hold TALK on the side of the parent unit. Speak towards the microphone on the parent unit. The screen displays TALK. Your voice is broadcast to the baby unit.

NoteSIf the speaker volume of the parent unit is set to OFF, it will be reset to the default volume after you press and hold TALK.Lullaby playback is paused when the parent unit is talking the baby unit. Lullaby


playback resumes when the parent unit finishes using the TALK feature.

5.8 TemperatureThe parent unit constantly displays the temperature detected by the temperature sensor on the baby unit. When the detected temperature is lower than 14°C, the screen displays LOW TEMP. When the detected temperature is higher than 37°C, the screen displays HIGH TEMP.NoteThere might be a small difference between the baby monitor reading and the actual temperature.

6. TROUBLESHOOTINGIf you have difficulty with your audio monitor, please try the suggestions below. My audio monitor does not work at all.• Make sure the baby unit, parent unit and the batteries are installed and charged correctly. For optimum daily performance, charge the parent unit when it is not in use.• Make sure the power adapters are securely plugged into the outlet not controlled by a wall switch.• Make sure the adapter cords are plugged firmly into the baby unit and parent unit.• Make sure the baby unit and the parent unit are turned on.• The parent unit may be too far away from the baby unit. Move the parent unit closer to the baby units (but not less than 1.5 metres).• Unplug the electrical power to the baby unit and parent unit. Wait for approximately 15 seconds, then plug it back in. Turn on the baby unit and the parent unit. Allow up to one minute for the baby unit and the parent unit to synchronise.• Charge the batteries in the parent unit for up to 12 hours.• If the parent unit batteries are completely depleted, they may take up to 30 minutes to charge the parent unit before it can be used for a short time.• Remove the batteries and then install them again. If that still does not work, it may be necessary to purchase new batteries.• Large obstructions may impact the reception. Try to relocate the baby unit, away from large obstructions such as walls and doors.• Other electronic products may cause interference with your audio monitor. Try installing your audio monitor as far away from these electronic devices as possible: wireless routers, radios, cellular telephones, intercoms, room monitors, televisions, personal computers, kitchen appliances and cordless telephones.• The audio monitor produces high-pitched noise.• The parent unit may be too close to the baby unit. Make sure the parent unit and the baby unit are at least 1.5 metres away from one another.

The parent unit plays any sounds from the baby unit and I think it is too noisy.• You may need to adjust the speaker volume on the parent unit.


The parent unit does not play any sound when there is noise from the baby unit.• Make sure the parent unit is powered up by connecting it to mains power or to the rechargeable batteries provided.• Make sure the parent unit is turned on and the speaker volume is not set to off.• The parent unit may be too far away from the baby unit. Move the parent unit closer to the baby unit (but not less than 1.5 metres).• If the parent unit is powered by the provided batteries, make sure there is sufficient charge. Charge the battery in the parent unit for up to 12 hours.• Large obstructions may impact the reception. Try to relocate the baby unit, away from large obstructions such as walls and doors.• Remove the batteries and then install it again. Turn on the baby unit and the parent unit. Allow up to one minute for the parent unit and the baby unit to synchronise.• Other electronic products may cause interference with your audio monitor. Try installing your audio monitor as far away from these electronic devices as possible: wireless routers, radios, cellular telephones, intercoms, room monitors, televisions, personal computers, kitchen appliances and cordless telephones.

Battery low at the Parent Unit. • Charge the battery in the parent unit for up to 12 hours.• The volume level of the parent unit may be set too high which consumes power. Decrease the volume level of the parent unit. Refer to Adjust speaker volume (p. 15) for volume level settings.• Remove the battery and then install it again. Use it until fully depleted, then recharge it in the parent unit for up to 12 hours.• If the above measures do not correct the problem, replace the battery.

The battery does not charge in the parent unit or the parent unit battery does not accept charge.• Make sure the batteries are installed in the parent unit battery compartment correctly. The Charging indicator light on the parent unit should be on when charging.• Remove the battery and then install it again, then charge for up to 12 hours.• If the battery is completely depleted, it may take up to 30 minutes to charge the parent unit before it can be used for a short time.• Purchase new batteries. Refer to Parent unit battery installation and Parent unit battery charging.

The parent unit beeps.• Move the parent unit closer to the baby units (but not less than 1.5 metres). The parent unit may be out of range.• The batteries may be running low, Connect the parent unit to the mains power with the supplied power adaptor for recharging.• The baby unit may be switched off. Press and hold key to switch on the baby unit.


Common cure for electronic equipment.• If the audio monitor is not responding normally, try the following (in the order listed):1.Disconnect the power to the baby unit and the parent unit.2.Remove the batteries in the parent units and then install the batteries again.3.Wait a few minutes before connecting power back to the baby unit and the parent unit.4.Turn on the baby unit and the parent unit.5.Wait for the parent unit to synchronise with the baby unit. Allow up to one minute for this to take place.

2 – Précautions d’emploi •Lire attentivement les instructions données. •Utiliser uniquement l’adaptateur secteur fourni. •Ne pas installer l’appareil dans un endroit sensible à la poussière ou susceptible de subir des perturbations dues à des vibrations ou à des chocs. •Ne pas mettre votre appareil à côté d’une source magnétique (télévision, enceintes, etc.) sous risque de perturbations. •Ne jamais verser de liquide sur l’appareil sous risque de court-circuit. •Ne pas placer la base près d’un endroit humide. •Ne jamais démonter l’appareil. •Débrancher immédiatement un appareil endommagé et le faire réparer dans un service après-vente agréé. •Ne rien mettre sur le cordon électrique, éviter que des personnes puissent marcher dessus. •Eviter de brancher trop d‘appareils sur la même source de courant. •Ne jamais installer durant un orage. •Ne jamais toucher des fils du Bébé-alarme dénudés, à moins qu’ils soient débran-chés. •Débrancher l’appareil avant de le nettoyer, ne pas utiliser de nettoyants ou d’aéro-sols, utiliser un chiffon légèrement humide.5 •Ne pas placer l’appareil sur un élément non stable. Il ne doit pas tomber; cela cause-rait de sérieux dommages. •En l’absence d’alimentation secteur ou en cas de coupure secteur, l’unité Bébé n’est plus fonctionnelle. • Utiliser uniquement les blocs d’alimentation fournis avec votre WMA420. L’utilisati-on d’un bloc d’alimentation non autorisé annulera votre garantie et peut endomma-ger le Bébé-alarme (ou les blocs d’alimentation fournis pour les supports de charge) • Utiliser uniquement les batteries rechargeables agréées fournies.


• N’essayer pas d’ouvrir l’unité Parents (excepté pour remplacer les batteries) ou l’u-nité Bébé. Cela peut notamment vous exposer à des risques de haute tension. Performance de la batterie Dans des conditions idéales, une batterie totalement chargée permet une autonomie de 14 heures en utilisation. Des batteries neuves ne sont réellement performantes qu’après plusieurs cycle de fonctionnement Afin d’optimiser les performances de la batterie de l’unité Parents, ne connectez pas l’adaptateur secteur durant quelques heures chaque jour. Un déchargement total de la batterie au moins une fois par semaine prolongera sa durée de vie. La capacité de charge des batteries rechargeables réduit avec le temps en raison de leur usure, diminuant ainsi le temps d’autonomie de communication et de veille du combiné. Vous devrez procéder à leur remplacement. . Après avoir chargé le combiné une première fois, les recharges suivantes durent environ 6 à 8 heures par jour. La batterie et l’unité parents peuvent devenir chaudes lors du chargement : c’est tout à fait normal.

ATTENTION : Le Bébé-alarme WMA420 est une aide à la surveillance du bébé mais en aucun cas il ne remplace la surveillance responsable d’un adulte. Guide d’installation et de démarrage 1 – Installation de l’unité Bébé ATTENTION : Avant toute utilisation, choisir un emplacement approprié pour l’u-nité Bébé de votre Bébé-alarme. Assurez-vous que l’unité Bébé ainsi que son cor-don d’alimentation soient toujours hors de portée du Bébé (minimum 1 mètre). Connecter la fiche de l’adaptateur secteur (S004LV0600045 sortie 6V DC/450mA) dans la prise modulaire située sur le côté de l’unité Bébé. Puis connecter l’adaptateur secteur à la prise de courant 100-240 V AC 50/60 Hz.


2 – Installation et charge de l’unité Parents Installation : - Insérer les 2 batteries (Type AAA Ni-MH/400mAh) dans le compartiment en respec-tant les polarités. - Fermer le compartiment des batteries à l’aide du capot fourni avec les batteries dans l’emballage - Connecter la fiche de l’adaptateur secteur (S004LV0600045 sortie 6V DC/450mA) dans la prise modulaire située sur le côté de l’unité Parents. Puis connecter l’adapta-teur secteur à la prise de courant 100-240 V AC 50/60 Hz.

Charge des batteries : Avant toute utilisation, il faut impérativement charger les batteries (pour la première fois) durant un minimum de 24 heures sans interruption. Remarque : Lorsque l’unité Parents est en charge, le voyant « Chargement » de l’u-nité Parents reste fixe.Lorsque le voyant clignote, les batteries sont complètement chargées. Attention : Si vous ne laissez pas votre unité Parents se charger durant 24 heures pour la première fois, elle ne fonctionnera pas au maximum de ses capacités. La garantie ne prendra pas effet pour les problèmes de dysfonctionnement dus à une charge incomplète lors de la première utilisation. Important : Lorsque les batteries sont faibles, des variations de volume peuvent se faire ressentir, penser à remettre en charge les batteries pour un meilleur confort d’écoute.


Schémas et fonctions du Bébé-alarme

1 – Description de l’unité Parents 1. Voyants de niveau sonore : - Trois voyants verts et deux voyants rouges s’allument et s’éteignent en temps réel pour indiquer le niveau de bruit dans la chambre du bébé. Les voyants ne s’allument pas lorsque le volume sonore de la chambre du bébé est trop faible. - Ces voyants peuvent être aussi utilisés pour indication du volume du haut-parleur lors du réglage avec les touches Volume+ et Volume-, par exemple, un voyant allumé veut dire que le volume est au niveau 1

Touche ON/OFF : Permet d’allumer ou d’éteindre l’unité Parents 7. Touche Retour : Permet de revenir en arrière dans le menu 8. Touche Volume - / Bas : Permet de diminuer le volume ou de descendre dans le menu 9. Touche Volume + / Haut : Permet d’augmenter le volume ou de monter dans le menu 10. 1. Voyant vert ON/OFF : - Allumé lorsque l’unité bébé est en marche - Eteint lorsque l’unité bébé est arrêtée 2. Touche ON/OFF Permet d’allumer ou d’éteindre l’unité Bébé. 3. Touche Veilleuse Permet d’allumer ou d’éteindre la veilleuse 4. Touche Berceuse Permet de sélectionner la berceuse 5. Touche Play / Stop Berceuse Permet d’allumer ou d’éteindre la berceuse. 6. Touche Volume - Permet de diminuer le volume de la berceuse. Un appui long permet de restaurer les paramètres par défaut

Mise en marche : maintenir enfoncé la touche jusqu’à ce que le voyant vert « POWER » s’allume. Arrêt de l’unité Parents: maintenir enfoncé la touche jusqu’à ce que le voyant vert « POWER » s’éteigne.

2 – Mise en Marche / Arrêt de l’unité Bébé Veiller lors de l’allumage à ce que l’unité Parents ne se trouve pas dans la même pièce que l’unité Bébé sous peine d’interférences sonores désagréables dans les haut-par-leurs de l’unité Parents. Mise en marche : maintenir enfoncé la touche jusqu’à ce que le voyant vert « POWER » s’allume. Arrêt de l’unité bébé: maintenir enfoncé la touche jusqu’à ce que le voyant vert « POWER » s’éteigne.

3 – Réglage du volume Appuyer sur la touche ou de l’unité Parents pour accéder au réglage de volu-me en cours d’utilisation Appuyer une nouvelle fois sur la touche pour diminuer le volume ou sur la touche

pour augmenter le volume. (6 niveaux de volume disponible incluant « Volume OFF ».

4 – Fonction Talkie-walkie sur l’unité Parents Vous pouvez parler à votre bébé pour le réconforter et le rassurer en cas de pleurs grâce à la fonction Talkie-walkie de l’unité Parents. Pour utiliser la fonction Talkie-Walkie : - Maintenir enfoncée la touche « TALK » situé sur le côté gauche de l’unité Parents (Voir schéma page 7), - « PARLER » s’affiche sur l’écran LCD de l’unité Parents. - Parler près de l’unité Parents- Relâcher la touche « TALK » lorsque vous avez fini de parler


Note : Lorsque vous parlez en utilisant la fonction Talkie-walkie, le micro de l’unité Bébé se désactive et vous n’entendrez plus ce qui se passe aux alentours de l’unité Bébé.Note : Si la fonction berceuse était activée avant l’utilisation de la fonction Talkie-wal-kie, elle se met en pause pendant toute la durée de l’utilisation du Talkie-walkie et redémarre lorsque la touche « TALK » est relâchée

5 – Affichage de la température L’unité Bébé contrôle en permanence la température dans la chambre du bébé, grâce à son capteur situé à l’arrière et émet une alerte si la température est trop chaude (plus de 30°C) ou trop froide (moins de 10°C). La température de la chambre du bébé est indiquée sur l’écran de l’unité Parents.

ATTENTION : La température affichée est une indication de la température de la chambre du bébé, il peut y avoir un écart entre la température affichée sur l’écran de l’unité Parents et la réalité. En aucun cas le Bébé-alarme ne remplace pas le contrôle de la température de la chambre du bébé par un appareil adapté.

6 – Réglages de l’unité Parents Accéder au menu de réglages de l’unité Parents à l’aide de la touche «MENU» sur l’unité Parents (Voir schéma page 7).

6.1 Langue Pour sélectionner la langue d’affichage des menus : - Appuyer sur la touche « MENU ». - Sélectionner « LANGUE » à l’aide des touches et . - Appuyer sur la touche « MENU » pour accéder au menu de sélection de la langue. - Sélectionner la langue désirée à l’aide des touches et .- Valider la sélection avec la touche « MENU ».

6.2 Réinitialisation Pour restaurer les paramètres d’usine : - Appuyer sur la touche « MENU ». - Sélectionner « REINIT » à l’aide des touches et .- Appuyer sur la touche « MENU » - « CONFIRMER ? » s’affiche sur l’écran - Valider avec la touche « MENU ».

6.3 Alerte sonore Si l’alerte sonore est activée, l’unité Parents émet une alerte sonore quand le niveau


sonore venant de l’unité Bébé dépasse un certain niveau de sensibilité (voyants rou-ge allumés sur l’unité Parents) lorsque le volume des haut-parleurs de l’unité Parents est coupé. Pour activer ou désactiver l’alerte sonore : - Appuyer sur la touche « MENU ». - Sélectionner « ALERTE SON » à l’aide des touches et .- Appuyer sur la touche « MENU » - « ALLUME ? » ou « ETEINT ? » s’affiche sur l’écran - Valider avec la touche « MENU ».

6.4 Veilleuse Activer ou désactiver la veilleuse luminaire depuis l’unité Parents : - Appuyer sur la touche « MENU ». - Sélectionner « VEILLEUSE » à l’aide des touches et .- Appuyer sur la touche « MENU » - « ALLUME ? » ou « ETEINT ? » s’affiche sur l’écran - Valider avec la touche « MENU ».

Informations générales 1 – Remplacement des batteries de l’unité Parents Après de nombreuses utilisations, il se peut que les batteries de l’unité Parents se déchargent plus rapidement. Il s’agit d’une usure normale. Les batteries doivent être remplacées. 1. Ouvrir le couvercle des batteries. 2. Enlever les batteries puis remplacer-les par des nouvelles batteries Ni-Mh. 3. Pousser le couvercle des batteries jusqu’au clic.

ATTENTION Ne pas disposer les batteries dans l’eau ou dans le feu. Ne les jeter pas avec les ordu-res ménagères. Renseignez vous pour leur recyclage.

2 – Consignes de sécurité · L’appareil n’est pas connectable à un schéma d’alimentation IT. · L’appareil est alimenté par un adaptateur secteur AC/DC, conforme à la norme EN 60950, branché sur une prise 230 V AC 50 Hz. · L’adaptateur servant de dispositif de sectionnement, le socle de prise de courant doit être installé à proximité de l’appareil et doit être aisément accessible. · L’entrée d’alimentation répond au niveau de sécurité TBTS. · La sécurité électrique correspond aux vérifications EN 60950.


· La plage de température maximale d’utilisation est comprise entre 0°C et 40°C · Le marquage des équipements terminaux attestés conformes se situe sous l’unité Parents et l’unité Bébé. · La prise de courant enfichable sur l’alimentation externe fournie avec l’appareil est utilisée comme dispositif de sectionnement du réseau d’alimentation. Ce dispositif doit demeurer aisément accessible à l’utilisateur.

3 – Nettoyage Nettoyer l’unité Parents et l’unité Bébé à l’aide d’un chiffon très légèrement humide ou d’une lingette anti-statique. Remarque : Ne jamais utiliser de produits nettoyant. Cela peut endommager le Bébé-a-larme. Ne jamais utiliser de chiffon sec. Cela peut provoquer une charge statique.

4 – Environnement • Ne pas exposer l’appareil directement à la lumière du soleil. • L’unité Parents peut devenir chaude lorsque la batterie est en charge ou lors de périodes d’utilisation prolongées. Cela est normal. Cependant, pour éviter tout dom-mage, il est recommandé de ne pas placer l’appareil sur le bois ancien ou plaqué. • Ne pas placer votre appareil sur des tapis ou des surfaces fibreuses, et tenez-le éloigné des courants d’air. • Ne placer aucune pièce de l’appareil dans l’eau et n’utiliser pas l’appareil dans des pièces humides, telles que les salles de bain. • Ne pas placer votre appareil près d’une source de chaleur, d’un élément explosif ou autres situations dangereuses. • Votre Bébé-alarme peut être endommagé lors d’un orage. Il est recommandé de débrancher l’alimentation pendant un orage.

5 – Consigne de mise au rebut de l’appareil Le symbole indiqué ici et sur l’appareil signifie que l’appareil est classé comme un équipement électrique ou électronique et qu’il ne doit pas être mis au rebut avec d’autres déchets ménagers ou commerciaux en fin de vie. 5.BEBEK ÜNİTESİNİN ÇALIŞTIRILMASI5.1 Bebek ünitesini Açmak veya Kapatmak

• Bebek ünitesini açmak/kapatmak için düğmesini 2 saniye basılı tutun Güç göstergesi ışığı bir kez yanıp söner ve yanar.

• Bebek ünitesini kapatmak için düğmesini yeniden 2 saniye basılı tutun Güç göstergesi ışığı sönecektir.

5.2 Hoparlör ses ayarıBebek ünitesinde beş ses seviyesi (Seviye 1 - Seviye 5) bulunmaktadır.Hoparlör sesini ayarlamak için:

Ebeveyn ünitesinin sesini azaltmak için düğmesine ve azaltmak için düğmesine basın.


NOTSes seviyesi minimum veya maksimum seviyeye ulaştığında üç bip duyacaksınız.5.3 Gece Lambası Bebek ünitesinden gece lambasını yakabilir veya söndürebilirsiniz. Gece Lambasını kapatmak veya açmak:

• Gece lambasını açmak için basın.

• Gece lambasını kapatmak için yeniden basın.

1.4 Ninni OkumakSeçim yapabileceğiniz 5 ninni bulunmaktadır. Seçilen ninniler sürekli olarak çalar.

NOTEbeveyn ünitesi bebek ünitesiyle konuşurken Ninni oynatımı duraklatılır. Ebeveyn ünitesi TALK özelliğini kullanmayı bitirdiğinde ninni yeniden çalmaya başlar.

Ebeveyn ünitesinin sesini arttırmak için düğmesine ve azaltmak için düğmesine basın.

NOTSes seviyesi minimum veya maksimum seviyeye ulaştığında iki bip duyacaksınız.

5.7 Bebek ünitesine konuşmakEbeveyn ünitesinden bebek ünitesine karşılıklı konuşma yapabilirisiniz.

Bebek ünitesine konuşmak: Ebeveyn ünitesinde TALK düğmesini basılı tutun. Ebeveyn ünitesindeki Mikrofona doğru konuşun. Ekranda TALK görünür. Sesinizbebek ünitesine gönderilir.

NOTLAR• Ebeveyn ünitesinin hoparlör sesi kapalı ise, TALK’u basılı tuttuktan sonra varsayılan sese dönecektir. • Ebeveyn ünitesi bebek ünitesiyle konuşurken Ninni oynatımı duraklatılır. Ebeveyn ünitesi TALK özelliğini kullanmayı bitirdiğinde ninni yeniden çalmaya başlar.

5.8 SıcaklıkEbeveyn ünitesi, bebek ünitesindeki sıcaklık sensörü ile algılanan sıcaklığı sürekli olarak gösterir. Örneğin algılanan sıcaklık 14C’den az ise, ekran DÜŞÜK SICAKLIK gösterir. Algılanan sıcaklık 37C’den yüksek ise, ekran YÜKSEK SICAKLIK gösterir.

NOTBebek monitörü okuma ve gerçek sıcaklık arasında küçük bir farklılık bulunabilir.

6.SORUN GİDERMESesli monitörünüzde zorluk yaşıyor iseniz, aşağıdaki önerileri deneyiniz.

Sesli monitörüm çalışmıyor.• Bebek ünitesi, ebeveyn ünitesi ve pillerin doğru kurulduğunu ve şarj edildiğini kontrol ediniz.
