lesser distances

eUparjan - Objectives

To enable smooth, regulated and efficient process of

procurement at the Procurement Centres.

To gain the trust and confidence of farmers through

simplification of procedures and transparency of operations,

from ‘purchase to payment’.

To weed out malpractices.

To develop a near real-time reporting mechanism of the field

level operations, such as forecasting, purchase, transportation,

storage, payment etc, to enable better planning, monitoring and

management.

The scope of the project includes:

Registration of Farmers – To enable more accurate forecasting & planning , and

to develop a unified database of farmers with landholding, sown area, bank

account and mobile numbers

Hardware Supply and Installation – Atom processor laptops, dot matrix

printers, inverters and other peripherals.

Application Development – Application developed by NIC to track purchase,

transportation, storage and payment.

Manpower Recruitment - Recruitment of Data Entry Operators and Runners at

co-op society level.

Training – Recruited manpower as well as departmental employees.

Project Management - Near realtime MIS reports for monitoring and evaluation.

Features of Online module

The Online Module is essentially the initial Registration of farmers, and

the subsequent MIS reports generated based on data fed into the Offline

module. The different functionalities of the Online module are:

• All the details related to the godowns

• All the details related to the Bardana Management

• Updations related to the transporter details

• Entering of the farmers’ loan details

• Viewing of different reports for monitoring and planning purposes
