Welcome to the Dust Tactics Regional

Season!

This document is intended for tournament

organizers (TOs) interested in applying to host

an ofcially-sanctioned Regional Championship

tournament during the 2011 season. This yearsseason begins May 2nd and ends June 13th, 2011.

A Dust TacticsRegional Championship is a majorevent supported by Fantasy Flight Games. A

regional championship will be held as a head-to-head tournament.

The Regional Championships are an opportunityto generate excitement and enthusiasm for Dust

Tactics, to provide a competitive environment for

fans of the game, and to help build your local Dust

Tacticscommunity.

In addition to the Regional head to headtournaments, Regional Championships may alsofeature side events like scenario tournaments,

themed tournaments, and other original

TO-sponsored events. The best Regional

Championship weekends have the feel of an Dust

Tacticsconvention.

Who can participate in the Regional

Championship tournaments?

Anyone can play in a Dust TacticsRegional

tournament. With the right mixture of skill, luck,and army-building, anyone can win! Furthermore,any store owner or tournament organizer interested

in running a Regional Championship tournament isencouraged to apply.

will announce the Regional Championship event

Where are Regional Championship

Events held?

Regional coverage will be as broad andcomprehensive as possible, and any area can

apply to run a Dust TacticsRegional Championship

event. Fantasy Flight Games will work with all

quality applicants to bring a Dust TacticsRegional

Championship tournament to your area*. Specicdates and locations will be announced after all

applications have been reviewed on Friday, March

25th.

* Determining the location of Regional events runoutside of the U.S. will be deferred to FFGs foreignpartner in that territory.

When are Regional Championship events

scheduled?

Applications to host a Dust TacticsRegional

Championship event are due on Monday, March 21stat 2359 GMT (Greenwhich Mean Time). Locations

and event organizers will be chosen and contacted byFriday, March 25th. Regional Championship eventsshould be run between the dates of May 2nd and

June 13th. Prospective applicants are encouraged to

plan their event for a weekend, as this makes it easiest

for players to travel and attend.

Why would I want to run or compete in a

Regional Championship event?

Running a Regional Championship event is a great

way to become the center of Dust Tacticsactivity inyour area, expand your player base, and showcase

the game. Players will want to attend a RegionalChampionship event in the quest to become an DustTacticsRegional Champion, which is also the rst steptowards becoming the Dust TacticsWorld Champion!Regional Champions will be awarded a rst round byeat the Gen Con Indy 2010 World Championships. In

addition to the leg up on the eld at Worlds and theprestige that comes with being a Regional Champion,players also compete for an assortment of Regional-exclusive championship prizes and trophies, which are

listed below:

How do I apply to host an event?

To apply to host a Regional Championship event,ll out the attached form and submit it to FantasyFlight Games by Monday, March 21st at 2359

GMT (Greenwhich Mean Time). Prospective

event organizers: please note that that the costof the Regionals prize kit is $150 (plus shippingif international), which includes tournament

prizes, promotional material, and ofcial supportnecessary to make your event an ofcial RegionalChampionship. The cost can be redeemed bycharging a small entry fee to each participant in

your Regional Championship tournament.
