Educate graduate students about data warehouse and business intelligence technologies using Microsoft

SSMS tools after main concepts of data warehouse are introduced. Then they apply various data mining
algorithms for clustering, classification, and association mining purposes to simple real world data sets.

Educate graduate students about fundamental concepts of project management and systems analysis and
design. Students learn how to create new information systems effectively and efficiently by learning
agile approach and how they are applied, understanding group dynamics and interactive teamwork

Students are required to work in a group to develop mobile apps for either Android or iOS platform
while exercising Scrum method.

Customize MIS 6900 class for undergraduate students.
Advanced Web-application Development (MIS 5650/6650): S03, S04, S05, S06
Help senior undergraduate and graduate students gain hands-on skills in PHP and MySQL to develop a
working prototype for an E-commerce Web site. In a computer lab environment, students learn how to
use various commands and an editor, Emacs, available in a Linux system. Final project components
include basic web connection, MySQL database manipulation, searching and authorization, PHP-
generated dynamic HTML documents, and other advanced features such as a shopping cart system.
