Each group sits in a circle. 2) Write a question or prompt at the top of each page. Fixed Assets will be conducting their annual inventory and will be visiting your classrooms to scan all BISD tagged items beginning Monday, Feb. 6th, 2017. All BISD tagged items (computers, projectors, laptops, ipads,

tablets, tv’s, cameras, etc. etc.) must be on campus and in your class-rooms on Monday. Please insure these items are scanned when they

visit your rooms.

Congratulations to the Hanna Chess team for winning 1st

place at Region VIII. They competed Saturday & Sun-

day and will now be advancing to Super National in

Classroom Safety:

Chairs, wastebaskets, electrical

cords, and other articles should not

be left where they will become a

tripping hazard.

Desk drawers, cabinet doors and

file drawers should not be left open

while unattended. Pull only one

drawer out at a time. Heavier

items should be loaded in the lower

file drawers to prevent the file from

tipping over.

Do not sit on the edge of a

chair. Do not sit in a straight chair

tilted back toward or against a

wall. Do not sit on students’ desk.

Do not stand in front of closed

doors, which may open suddenly.

Promptly report all defective

materials that need repair or re-

placement.

General Safety:

Make safety the first consideration

in every situation.

Keep your work area clean and free

of loose objects, stumbling

(including office equipment wires)

or slipping hazards, rubbish, etc.

Be aware of walking surfaces and

their condition. Extra care may be

required to prevent an accident.

Do not reach too high for some-

thing that may fall on you. Use a

small set of steps, a ladder, or ask

for help.

When it is necessary to climb---use

a ladder, not a chair, stool, desk or

box. Be sure the ladder is secured.

Never leave an unsafe condition

We would like to thank our CTE students that competed in the SKILLS Web Design Competi-

tion in Weslaco, TX this Saturday, Feb. 4th, 2017. Well done students and sponsors.

We would also like to thank our TAFE students for putting on their Showcase and showing off

their talents and skills.

We would like to wish the best of luck to our Robotics Team as the head to the TSA Regional

VEX Robotics Tournament on Feb. 11th.

We would also like to congratulate our Theater Arts students for advancing to the State Quarter

Final Round of the UIL Young Filmmakers Festival, with their film Where is Adam?

Thank you to our Fine Arts and CTE departments and their students for always representing

Hanna ECHS with skill, determination, knowledge, and most of all Class.

Students are not allowed in the student parking until the end of the day.
