Pattanaik, presidemember. Dr. Phulrenu Chauhan, Endocrinologist, spoke on “Vitamin D & Calcium Metabolism”. Dr. Suvarna Khadilkar spoke on “The role of HRT in Bone Health”. Dr. Hara Pattanaik spoke on “Urogenital problems in menopausal women”. The chairpersons for the 1st session were Dr. Asha Kapadia, Dr. Beena Kumari & Dr. Priya Ganesh. An interactive panel discussion was conducted by Dr. Ashwini Bhaerao Gandhi & Dr. Nita Dalal. The topic was “Vitamin D deficiency is prevalent from womb to tomb - Reality or Myth?”. The panelists were Dr. Sarita Bhalerao, Dr. Kedar Deogaonkar (Orthopaedic Surgeon), Dr. Ameya Purandare, Dr. Phulrenu Chauhan, Dr. Rashmi Shah & Dr. Rohini Samant (Rheumatologist). The panel discussion was informative & interesting & there wDr. Asha Kapadia, Founder member of IMS was felicitated. The program was sponsored by an academic grant from Sanofi. MMC granted 1 MMC credit point for delegates and 2 points for faculty.
