¿A qué edad?

Amasijo.

Projectile Ahab on a meandering, rolling roadless asphalt and more movementAhab feverishly dream-likeover his white whale, over his silvery white cetaceanand slippery and warlike and belligerent and suddenly, out of the rainy afternoon unexpected and surprising his spout of splendor springs up in the distance.
There she blows–there she blows! A hump like a
snow-hill!
the dark sprinkler of carbon dioxide,
so suddenly seen in the blue plain of the sea,
and relieved against the still bluer margin of the sky
its language that says pursue me in Morse codeits smashing tail that destroys the most irate, the most ferocious and muscularand tattooed of whalers.
blow on and split your spout, O whale! the mad himself is after ye!
I see it in your eyes:a terrible and unstoppable Ahabthat you have always carried with youlike the key to your home, like your wristwatch,is convened by yet another, ancestral and maritime, his eyes made of salt, his lungs of sea breezeand his leg of whale bone.
The trashing tail of that semiwould have capsized usif not for your skill at the wheel:

till he swamps the last man?
Shall we be dragged by him to the bottom of the sea?
Shall we be towed by him to the infernal world?
Ahab beside Ahab in his frenetic persecution of the whale. And his leg of bone glued to the accelerator
like an anchor releasedtoward a deepheart of saltwater.
The Maverick turned Pequod in retaliationto the great mammal that slaps its tailbefore our eyes.
And your eyes, two forgesand your hands, clenchedand you so far from yourselfand so close to Ahab.
You go, captain, you gowindward in sharp turnsfrom starboard to portwith sails unfurled.
sharp harpoon, your tonguebreaking off in insults whileunder the windshield glassthe headlights and horn throw rancorat the bestial and baleful gargantuan mammal Moby Dick of moving days.

A Conversation with Pablo SiquierEnglish Translation by Dave Oliphant
-
How do you see your own work?
You have said that everyday life is not present in your work...
-
What is the relationship between your work and color?
Your work has a certain rhythm that reminds us of math and science. Can you elaborate on that?
* * *
