Havethestudentschooseapartner;haveonestudentpushtheotheronthescooterboardfromonesideoftheroomtotheother.Then,havethesamestudentpulltheirpartnerback.Havethemswitchplacesandrepeat.

Havebothstudentssitonthescooterboards,facingeachother;havethemputtheirhandsagainsteachother.Havethemtrypushingawayfromeachothergentlytoseehowfartheygetfromeachother.Then,tryagain,havingthempushagainsteachotherashardastheycan.Explainthatfrictionworksagainstmovement,whichiswhysomethingsaremoredifficulttopushandpull.
