The  International  Pharmaceutical  Students’  Federation  –  Pharmacy  education,  is  working  on  an  ambitious  project,  the  IPSF  history.  This  project  fits  for  a  master  thesis  or  Pharmacy  Doctorate  project.  In  association  with  International  Pharmaceutical  Federation  (FIP)  ,  History  of  pharmacy  committee  ,  The  intern  will  have  the  mission  to  gather  all  relevant  information  about  IPSF  activity  starting  form  1949.  All  Data  is  available  in  the  IPSF  headquarters  as  well  as  through  previous  IPSFers,  HLM  and  partners  involvement.  A  great  part  of  the  work  was  done  in  the  60th  anniversary  booklet.

The  aim  of  the  project  is  to  establish  precisely  the  key  dates,  events  as  well  as  name  in  IPSF  history.  To  determine  precisely  the  history  of  the  oldest  students  association,  which  shaped  also  the  history  of  recent  pharmacy  in  a  general  way.

The  finality  would  be  to  establish  an  online  database,  accessible  for  members,  and  IPSF  staff,  where  every  grant,  every  exec  ,coordinator  or  subcommittee  members  who  served  in  the  past,  as  well  as  every  country  member  and  the  year  of  membership.

This  would  help  the  establishment  of  our  history  and  also  helps  the  future  generations  to  plan  accordingly.

We  can  chart  our  future  clearly  and  wisely  only  when  we  know  the  path  which  has  led  to  the  present.  -‐Adlai  E.  Stevenson.
