The auction offers over 120 pureblood Arabian horse breeds. Organised by Emirates Bloodstock, for sale and with approximately AED 8 million.
13th Dubai international horse fair, a funpacked programme of equestrian activities and attractions delighted an audience of horse aficionados, the general public, families and children.
As one of the most important Arabian horse competitions in the global calendar, the Championship presented the finest purebred Arabian horse bloodlines to royals and the general public in attendance. The heritage, beauty and agility of these magnificent horses were carefully deliberated upon, with combined prizes worth US$ 4 million (AED 15 million).
The Horse Auction was back for another consecutive full-day session, where Arabian purebred horses from local studs were available for viewing, bidding and buying. Organised by Emirates Bloodstock, the auction offered over 120 pureblood Arabian horse breeds for sale & collected 8 million dirhams in total. The horses were sold to buyers from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Egypt, Iran and other countries.
Adding to the excitement of the Dubai International Horse Fair is a line-up of new features that was enjoyed by youngsters, families and recreational riders alike. Al Tamimi Stables hosted a ‘Fun Farm’ where children had the opportunity to touch, feed and learn about various domesticated animals such as Shetland ponies, goats, snakes, rabbits and birds.
THE 14TH DUBAI INTERNATIONAL ARABIAN HORSE CHAMPIONSHIP
A series of 60-minute, heart-pounding dressage routines on every day of the show kept visitors on the edge of their seats. Internationally renowned rider Diego Lopez with his team of skilled, crowd-charming performers danced with beautiful Spanish stallions in a classical display of horse ballet harmonized with exquisite Spanish music, making audiences fall in love with horses all over again.

The Dubai Equestrian Conference, held together with The Royal Equestrian Club was hailed as a fantastic success with over 22 speakers of which Dr. Ghanem Mohammed Al-Hajri,Secretary General Emirates Equestrian Federation UAE and Göran Akerström , FEI Official Representative, Director of Veterinarian Department,Switzerland, along with hundreds of delegates and VIP’s discussing the latest trends and challenges of the buoyant industry.
DUBAI INTERNATIONAL EQUESTRIAN CONFERENCE
The Dubai Pony Club at Emirates Equestrian Centre (EEC) offers an active schedule of activities for its young members. Show jumping is an extremely popular equestrian sport in the UAE, and EEC is delighted to play a part in enhancing the discipline’s stature by hosting many competitions such as NATIONAL AND TRAINING SHOW LEAGUES throughout the seasons which are popular among both local and expatriate riders.
Shutterbugs with a passion for horses were in for a treat as the Dubai International Horse Fair (DIHF) launched an Instagram competition in collaboration with the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Awards (HIPA). The overall first prize winner took home Sultan, an Arabian thoroughbred worth AED 45,000 sponsored by Royal Equestrian Club. Runner-up prizes include horse riding classes also courtesy of the Royal Equestrian Club.
International and local artists presented their finest equestrian masterpieces at the dedicated Art Gallery. This segment of the show is a launch pad for artists to penetrate the Middle East’s increasingly lucrative equestrian art market. Painters, sculptors and sketch artists from France, Spain, Italy, South Africa and Kyrgyzstan have unveiled their horse-themed creations. These include intricate oil paintings, life-sized sculptures, mixed media pieces and bespoke items.
