Getting payback financially now
The ChallengeIn 2004 partners Kaye Taylor and Stephanie Wilson set up SK Chase, an online gift voucher application and fulfilment services to luxury hotels and resorts.
By the time the company had been running four years they had grown to nine staff including Kaye and Stephanie and turned over £550,000.
However by 2008 both partners realised there was lack of clarity in each of their roles aswell as others in the business. They weren’t clear about the shape they wanted it to be, nor the look and feel and they had the wrong people in the wrong jobs.
Financially it was clear it wasn’t working and stacking up. It became a very complex business as it kept on growing but no money was being made. Kaye felt very disconnected from the business and that impacted on Stephanie who carried a lot of the extra responsibility and workload.
Shirlaws came in and conducted three projects - Functional processes in the business, Brand positioning and Sales process and performance.
Results
Coaching helps company to grow its revenues 70%
The coaching has been invaluable, it’s changed my life on a personal level. The majority of what we’ve achieved commerically is down to Shirlaws. I don’t think we would have done without the coaching. It’s been the difference between having a business and not having a business.
