The client PMC Harvesters is a world market leader in harvesting machinery. Headquartered in Fakenham, Norfolk with agents worldwide, the firm offers a broad range of harvesting products and services, including maintenance and technical support.

The requirement PMC Harvesters wanted to refresh their local IT infrastructure. However, the work had to be carried out in line with their worldwide company policies.

The firm needed a local provider with the knowledge to deploy exactly what they needed while complying with every requirement – all within a tight deadline.

The solutionTo host PMC Harvesters’ data, we built a new two-node cluster connected to a dedicated Storage Area Network (SAN) running virtual servers, all backed up to a separate offsite location owned by the client.

To complete the project, we had to work across national borders in cooperation with partners and suppliers from the Netherlands and France, overcoming language barriers and getting to grips with unfamiliar technology.

Today, the firm is working in an up-to-date IT environment that’s proactively monitored 24/7 by our automated systems. That means staff can concentrate on serving clients – and leave the IT to us.
