If prospective customers or clients Google your name, what do they find? If it’s nothing or next to nothing, then you have a great
opportunity. If there’s a lot of junk, then you also have an opportunity to
turn that around to your advantage!

Social media is a good loyalty tool. It builds a community around a brand.
As a loyalty tool, social media works best in conjunction with other channels.
Create a conversation about a product by offering something relevant to participants.
Use social media to connect with people and drive traffic to read your blog, schedule an appointment, or make a purchase. Think Bump… Set… Spike…
Who’s Online Out There?In 2005, only 8% of adults had a social network profile. In December 2008, that number more than quadrupled itself to 35%!

• I actually approached someone on Facebook. • I found a group about the Easton-P'burg Football rematch from 1993.• Someone said he had wanted to print some shirts. • I wrote him a note saying who I was and what I did. • We e-mailed back and forth a bit - had lunch in Easton• BAM - I'm printing 3000 shirts for the event.
Tammy Huk – Seeing is Believing
Helped out an insurance agent friend of mine by giving him referrals to my past clients that fit his profile of a “good prospect”.
While compiling the list, he happened to join Facebook and added me as his friend.
In accepting his invitation, I saw we had a mutual friend in common, one of my past real estate clients.
I asked him how he knew them and he said that they went to high school together. What a small world!
Needless to say, I gave him the referral to my past client and I’m sure the combination of my past relationship as well as his HS connection should result in a very strong prospect for him.
It goes to show that you never know where your next lead is going to come from and also how closely we are all connected to each other without even knowing it.
