Standard 10 Meta Reflection: TechnologyIntegrates current technology into instruction and professional communication/collaboration activities where appropriate.

I met Standard 10: Technology by introducing a computer class while teaching in

Thailand. Students got the opportunity to work on their typing, create power point

presentations, learn how to search the Internet for information and pictures and

practice mouse control in academic game settings. In the picture above, sixth grade

students are preparing a power point presentation in English that they will present in

front of their class.

I also met Standard 10 by including a Web Quest for 8th grade health students. They

need to follow the instructions on the Web Quest to create a presentation to inform 6th

grader students on the dangers of Cyber Bullying. See the attached document for more

details on how this project integrates current technology into a valuable health lesson.
