IMAGES is the Latcham Gallery’s annual exhibition that showcases the amazing talents from the graduating art class at Stouffville District Secondary School. Every year the energetic and enthusiastic student-artists from Ms. Onalee Creasor’s graduating art class at SDSS push to find and refine their creative passions. Fed by their artistic curiosity, creative courage and a supportive learning environment, this year’s class has allowed their artistic minds to bloom in their Latcham Gallery exhibition titled Wildflowers. ThestudentsthisyearwillbringtotheLatchamGallerytraditionalartisticfareintheformofbeautifulstilllifes,studiesinanatomyandsurrealistdrawingsaswellasmoreunconventionalforaysintosculpturewiththeirkineticwhirligigsculptures(andvideos)aswellasaprojectinspiredbytheidiosyncratic“screaminghead”sculpturesbyeccentricBurke’sFallsartist,PeterCamani.AswellascreatingalltheworkintheirexhibitionthestudentsfromSDSSworkhardtopulltogetherallthemarketingmaterials,organizetheiropeningreceptionandinstalltheworksinthegallery.Thisexhibitionhasbeengenerouslysupportedby:
