1. What is Honeywell’s relationship with Lufthansa Technik regarding the A350 Program? Lufthansa Technik has been selected as Honeywell’s licensed component repair center and exclusive global asset service provider.
Honeywell encourages customers to take advantage of Lufthansa Technik’s competitive Total Component Services and Auxiliary Power Unit maintenance solutions.
2. What MRO capability does Lufthansa Technik currently have? Lufthansa Technik has established capability for all of the mechanical and avionics components and the auxiliary power unit that Honeywell supplies to Airbus for use on the A350 aircraft. An active Part Number/Workscope capability list is located here.
Consult the ROCAPS web portal located at www.myaerospace.honeywell.com for shipment and purchase order instructions for all Honeywell supplied A350 equipment needing maintenance services.
Any component or auxiliary power unit delivered to Honeywell where Lufthansa Technik is listed as the authorized repair center in ROCAPS, will be shipped to Lufthansa Technik for repair. Additional shipping charges will be incurred and shop processing time will not begin until components are received at Lufthansa Technik.
All Honeywell contracted performance terms will be honored, when using Lufthansa Technik for A350 component and auxiliary power unit maintenance.

3. What quality system and repair certificates does Lufthansa Technik hold? Lufthansa Technik’s quality system is certified as per ISO9000/9001.
Lufthansa Technik is a certified to EASA Part 145, 21J, 21G and is a FAA 145 Repair Station with an AS/EN 9110 certification. In addition, they hold authorization supplements for 68 additional countries. For details regarding quality system and repair certifications please refer to the following attachments:

4. What is the targeted Shop Processing Time (SPT) that Lufthansa Technik will offer? Components and APUs sent to Lufthansa Technik will be processed in accordance with Honeywell’s Airbus SSC SPT obligations.

5. What is the process for OEM warranty repairs?Lufthansa Technik will perform warranty repairs in accordance with Honeywell’s Airbus SSC requirements.
Honeywell instructs customers to send components under warranty to the authorized repair facility listed in ROCAPS for repairalong with the following data as applicable: part number, serial number, time since new, time since overhaul, failure analysis test reports, reason for removal, date of removal, aircraft registration number and the address to which the item is to be returned.
Adjudication of each warranty claim shall be performed within 30 days of receipt of the claim and/or the component alleged to be defective.
6. How is Honeywell supporting customers with exchanges and rental assets?In the event Lufthansa Technik cannot repair a component within the SPT requirements above, Lufthansa Technik is obligated to provide either an exchange or a free-of-charge rental asset.
In addition, Lufthansa Technik will serve as Honeywell’s exclusive global asset service provider, and as such can provide rental agreements and exchange services to operators on a chargeable basis.

7. How does the Emergency Services process work under this arrangement?Honeywell instructs customers to request Repair and Exchange Emergency Services (24 hours per day/7days per week) directly through Lufthansa Technik by either calling their AOG Line at +49 40 5070 4308 or requesting services via email using the following address: [email protected].
For all New Part Purchase Emergency Services, customers should place a request with Honeywell via email using the following address: [email protected].
Lead-times to deliver such product shall be FCA [nearest international airport to Lufthansa Technik’s stock location] (Incoterm 2010) no later than:
• Four (4) hours after receipt of an AOG Order for NO-GO or GO IF components• Twenty-four (24) hours after receipt of a Critical Order or Work Stoppage Order• Five (5) Days after receipt of an Expedite Order
No contractual relationship with Lufthansa Technik is necessary to request Repair and Exchange Emergency Services.
Loan and/or exchange requests will require a signed bailment agreement with Lufthansa Technik for product provided under emergency services.
