Sub: Enquiry for Construction of Shed for 15 KVA Diesel Generator at

LPTV, Krishnagiri (BSNL Microwave station site) - reg.

1. DESCRIPTION: NAME OF THE WORK: वििरण :कार्श का नाम:

Sealed tenders are hereby invited for and on behalf of the President of India from reputed firms for

the following work:

Construction of Shed of size 10 ftx10 ft (carpet area) and Engine bed of size

4 ftx4 ft at the middle of the room for installation of 15 KVA Diesel

Generator set as per drawing nos LPT/KSG/01, LPT/KSG/02 &

LPT/KSG/03 dated 12.7.2017. Pre-coated galvanized sheet to be used for

roofing and sunshade. MS door of size 4 ft x7 ft and MS windows (2 nos)

of size 2 ft x 3 ft all opening outside. Necessary C.C lintels to be made for

Door & Windows. Wall height 10 ft on North facing and 9 ft on South side.

Suitable parapet wall on the periphery of roofing.

Note:

1. Tenderers may visit the site, if needed, on any working day between 10.00 Hrs & 17.00

Hrs.

2. All the tools required have to be brought by the Contractor himself.

2. VALIDITY: वैधता: The tender should be valid for a minimum period of 03 months from the date of opening.

3. DATE OF OPENING: 28.07.2017 खोलने की तारीख 28.07.2017 : The quotation should be sent in a sealed cover addressed to:

So as to reach on or before 1500 hrs on 28.07.2017. Enquiry letter No., date of opening and name

of material should be superscribed on the envelope. The quotations will be opened in this office at

1530 hrs on 28.07.2017, in the presence of such tenderers or their agents as may choose to attend.

4. PRICES: कीमतें: The prices quoted should be firm and for free delivery / work at the site as mentioned above

inclusive of Transit Insurance, Excise Duty and Entry Tax if any. Tenderer should quote on figures

as well as on words the amounts tendered by them.

5. GST: बिक्री कर: Applicable tax like GST etc leviable and intended to be claimed from the purchaser should be

distinctly shown along with prices quoted. Where this is not done, no claim for tax will be

admitted at any later stage and on any ground whatsoever.

6. EMD: Earnest Money Deposit for an amount of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) in the

form of Demand Draft/Multicity Cheque on Nationalized Bank/Commercial Bank drawn in the

favour of The ADG (E) (SZ), All India Radio & Doordarshan, Chennai – 600005 must be

submitted along with the Tender document. Tenders without EMD shall be rejected.

7. SERVICE TAX: सेवा कर: If Service tax/ work contract tax is leviable by the concerned Central Government on work

contracts, the same shall be clearly mentioned in the tender.

“A copy of the challan endorsed by the Bank detailing the Service Tax remitted in r/o work carried

out for this office should be submitted after remittance of the Service Tax, within the subsequent

quarterly returns. The firms should high light each of the Service Tax amount collected &

remitted individually”.

8. DELIVERY PERIOD:ववतरण अवधध: Tenderers may note that the entire work shall be completed within 60 days from the date of the

order.

9. GUARANTEE/WARRANTY:र्गारंटी /वारंटी: The Tenderer shall guarantee the complete works for a period of 12 months from the date of

handing over after successful completion of the works.

10. PAN & TIN/ GSTIN NOs.पैन और टटन नर्ग:

Both your PAN-Permanent Income Tax Account Number and Income Tax Circle & your TIN/

GSTIN Number and the Tax circle should be definitely indicated in your quotation.

11. EXPERIENCE:अनुभव: The tenderer should give documentary proof for having successfully carried out similar type of

work.

12. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:तकनीकी ननटदिष्टीकरण: As per Drawings LPT/KSG/01, LPT/KSG/02 & LPT/KSG/03 dated 12.7.2017

13. ACCEPTANCE / REJECTION OF TENDER:ननववदा स्वीकृनत / अस्वीकृनत: The ADG (E) (SZ), AIR & DD, Chennai reserves to himself the right to accept the lowest tender

or reject or reject one or all of the tenders received without assigning any reason.

1) The firm should quote the labour charges, transportation charges etc., as per the geographical

condition.

2) The firm should have the experience of executing the works

3) The firm should execute the works within 30 days after the receipt of the work order.

4) 5% of sanctioned amount will be deducted as security deposit/Performance

Guarantee and it will be released after 12 months of completion of the works.

14. TERMS OF PAYMENT: 100% Payment after successful completion of work.

15. GENERAL:ववस्ततृ:

Canvassing in connection with tender is strictly prohibited and the tenders submitted by tenderers

who resort to canvassing will be rejected. Tender enquiry & subsequent amendments/ extensions/
