About DNA:Nurses Serving Nurses for more than 30 years! With more than 30 years of excellence in dermatological care, education and certification, the Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA) is the longest-standing dermatology nursing association in the United States and Canada. Our nearly 3,000 members cover all dermatologic specialties and all levels of education and certification.

Mission Statement and Core PurposeThe Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA) is a professional nursing organization comprised of a diverse group of individuals committed to quality care through sharing knowledge and expertise. The core purpose of the DNA is to promote excellence in dermatologic care.

Vision StatementThe vision of the DNA is to be the preeminent voice of quality dermatology health care.

DNA Nurses on the Front-Lines of Patient CareAccording to a recent survey:

› 21% see more than 100 NEW consultation patients during an average 3–month period

Co-located with the DNA Annual Convention is the NP Forum, a 2-day educational event highlighting the issues confronting today’s dermatology NPs. Topics covered include Systemic Therapies,

Diagnosis and Management of Diseases, Assessment, Diagnosis and Management of Wounds, Clinical Challenges, Advanced Dermatopathology, and many others. The Annual Convention exhibit schedule features special “NP-Only” time to ensure direct and targeted one-on-one communication with this important segment.
