Pixar films tend to also appeal to older audiences than many other animated films.

Because of this Pixar and Disney set out to target people in their twenties when promoting Toy Story 3 (who would have seen the original Toy Story when they were younger).

"Toy Story 3" is about Andy going off to college (and thus, the future of his toys), so to promote the film, Disney and Pixar are taking "Toy Story 3" to college!

In April, Disney will be visiting college campuses across the country and showing off the first 65 minutes of the film. Known as the "Special Cliffhanger Edition," the idea is to get college kids reunited with the franchise and excited to see how the film turns out when it hits theaters on June 18th, 2010.

You can sign up for an event at your campus by visiting the Disney/Pixar Facebook Page. Tickets and seats are still first come, first serve, so just because you RSVP doesn't mean you're guaranteed a spot -- get to your school's theater early!
