For this exercise I practised Photoshop skills by finding an image and covering the clothes in different patterns to create a costume design ...this works well with creating the perfect idea of a costume design.

Here I used Photoshop to create the outdoor scene in the play ‘ The Importance of Being Earnest’ I used tools on Photoshop to make a collage of images and editing them so they fit in well together.
For this scene in the library, in the play ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ I collected different images and created a montage using Photoshop.
The play I chose to design for is the Oscar Wilde play of ‘The Importance of Being earnest’ ... Using Photoshop I collected images after researching the style of furniture etc to create set designs.
Then I created simple costume designs for come of the characters in the play and dressed then with different patterns using tools on Photoshop. This an interesting process and I have learnt other ways to produce theatre designs.
My set using simple blocks My set with one added design mapped in
Using 3d studio max I created this simple set using different tools to add stairs and a door ... I found this programme quite easy to use after practise but it needs patience and understanding.
My final stage My final stage with spotlight
To decorate the set, I used mapping to copy an image over the create an urban street effect.
This is AutoCAD. We were shown how to make simple shapes using the programme and eventually came u with this simple diagram. I found this programme quite complicated until I practised again it takes getting used to.
I have enjoyed working in digital practises, learning new techniques that could help me in different ways of designing for the stage.
I have experimented with different multimedia's and enhanced my knowledge in the digital techniques lessons .
