SOME TIPS TO REDUCE TEETH AND GUM DISEASE

Brush at least twice a day for two minutes

Use dental floss to clean in between your teeth once a day

Avoid smoking

Pay special attention to oral hygiene

Limit acidic drinks like soft drinks, cordials and fruit juices.

Limit sugary foods. Bacteria in dental plaque change sugars into acids

Avoid using your teeth for anything other than chewing food. If you use them to

crack nuts.

Use fluoridated toothpaste
