We measure circles in two ways:1. Like angles, circles have a degree measure. Recall that there are 360 degrees in every circle regardless
of size. So, like equilateral triangles, all circle are similar. When we cut pieces out of the circle (arcs), they too, have a degree measure...a number greater that 0 but less than 360.
2. Circles also have a length measure...inches, feet, meters, etc. That length measure is the circumference. When we cut pieces out of the circle (arcs), they have a length that is a fractional part of the circumference.
