Sentence: You must always capitalize the beginning of every sentence as well as names or proper nouns.

Action: Use you finger to write your name in the air using only lower case letters. Then “erase” it and write it correctly by capitalizing the first letters of your name.

Sentence: My mom bought me new clothes for school.

Action: Quietly point to the garments you are wearing and whisper, “These are my favorite clothes.”

Definition: the past tense of throw Sentence: The first boy threw his ball and missed. The second boy threw his ball and hit the first boy to end the dodge ball game.

Action: Pretend to throw a ball and whisper, “Yea, I threw it.”

ThroughDefinition: to enter into something and continue until you come out the other side.

Sentence: She walked through the door. orShe wandered through the crowd looking for her friend.

Action: Pretend to open a door and walk through it back to your desk.

Sentence: Periods, explanation marks, and question marks are punctuations that help readers know when they have come to the end of a sentence.

Action: Whisper a sentence to your neighbor and write the correct punctuation in the air to end your sentence.
