Dear Decision Ladies,
Happy Autumn and I do hope everyone is enjoying Long Island in all its beautiful splendor. We will be meeting as usual at Mario’s, East Setauket on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 and I look forward to a wonderful evening as I do enjoy professionally and personally connecting with everyone. The Holiday Party and Fashion Show Committees have been very busy and I am so pleased we have these events to look forward to. Halloween is on Friday and can I suggest that as women, you just think of one of your many roles for a costume – Daughter, Sister, Mother, Aunt, Grand-mother, Great Grandmother. Or, Girlfriend, Wife, Significant Other. Or, Home-maker, Nurse, Vet, Care-giver, Cook, Gardener, Shopper, Designer, Financial Planner. Or, Business Professional, Business Owner, Board Members, Volunteer, Community Service Worker. Decision Women in Commerce and the Professions has members who have worn many of these “hats” listed above and dare I say some have worn them all! But the most important connections we make is in our friendships because that is who will celebrate our accomplishments and boost us up when we have a challenge in front of us. Thank you.
