Dear Candidate! We are glad that you have decided to enroll for studies at the University of Lodz and that you are here.

With this guide, you can go through the online recruitment process step by step and find answers to your questions. However, please remember that the www.admission.uni.lodz.pl platform is intended for people from countries that do not belong to the European Union and are not of Polish origin.

If you are sure that you are on the right page - go ahead and start ☺.

Before starting, we have a few comments for you to keep in mind: 1. Do not be stressed, it's very hard to make an error here. 2. If you have questions while completing the form or some functionality does not allow you to continue the registration - write us a message in the system. This way, it will be easier for us to help you. 3. Confirmation of the registration fee will not appear in the system immediately. Please wait patiently until you can go to the next step (foreign transfers are posted in 3-4 working days). Let's go to registration!

1) On the Admission IRK platform, select the Registration tab. Read and accept the rules for the processing of personal data. The data is provided for recruitment and studies at the University of Lodz. Press the button “I CONFIRM”.

2) All mandatory fields must be completed. Choose answers from the drop-down list.

3) Enter your current e-mail address, first and last name (exactly as they are written in your passport!). Enter

your date of birth in the YYYY-MM-DD format, choose citizenship from the list. Enter the password you will use when logging in to your personal account. Think of a question and answer that you can use to recover your password if you forget it. Enter current contact numbers. After completing all fields, press the CREATE ACCOUNT button.



4) After filling in all the required fields, a message will be displayed that the account has been created. You will log into your account using your email address. To go to the next stage of the application - click LOGIN TO THE SYSTEM.

5) Now, fill in the application form step by step. Attention! You have to fill everything in order.

If you do not complete all the required tabs in the first step - the second step will not be available. The first step is to enter your personal data.

6) Complete all fields and save the entered data by clicking the button at the bottom.



7) You will automatically go to the contact data tab. Fill in all fields here. Please enter the name of someone from your family as a contact person in an emergency. After completing the data, click SAVE.

8) Fill out the address fields. Provide your current address and enter it correctly! A document about admission to university will be sent to this address. SAVE the entered data.



8) In the education tab, select the country where your school-leaving certificate was issued. If you apply

for first-cycle (BA) studies, choose the high school certificate from the documents that entitles you to study.

In the case of applying for the second-cycle (master's) studies, you must choose a BA/BSc diploma or

equivalent. Next enter the serial number of the document. ATTENTION! If you do not yet have a school leaving

certificate/bachelor's degree, you cannot continue the admission. Wait until you obtain the document, then

enter its number and proceed to the next stage of completing the application form. SAVE the entered data.



9) Enter the passport number and country in which it was issued. Enter your place of birth. ATTENTION! Place of birth must be entered in accordance with the data in the international passport. Enter the citizenship and the country you currently reside in and SAVE the data.

10) If all fields are completed correctly, a message will appear about saving the data successfully. Now go back

to the My account tab.

11) Now you can proceed to step 2.: Accommodation



12) Read the information in this tab carefully. ATTENTION! After making your choice in the system

(YES/NO in answer to the question whether you intend to apply for a place in the UŁ dorm) you cannot change the decision at a later stage of the application. In case you do not need a place in the dormitory, press the NO button. In case you need a place in a dormitory, choose the YES option.

13) If you do not need a dorm room, skip this step

If you select the YES option, additional information will appear - read it carefully! First you need to download the application, print it and fill it in large capital letters. ATTENTION! Fill out the application legibly! After completing the form, scan the application and upload it to the system using the Choose file => SEND button. ATTENTION! If you have chosen the option that you need a dorm room and you do not load the application into the system, you cannot continue the application.



14) After uploading the application, a message about saving the data successfully will appear. Now go back to the My account tab.

15) Now you can proceed to step 3.: Choose study program.

16) Find the program you want to register for and click it. ATTENTION! If you want to attend a programme in Polish,

than please change the language of the webpage in the upper right corner. You can apply for up to 3 programs.



17) Next, choose the level of study you intend to attend. Be careful to choose the right option for you!

18) After selecting the program and level which are right for you, read the general information about the program.

There you will find what subjects are required for applying for a given program, what language lectures are taught in, the limit of places and the tuition fee. After reading the information, click the Save button.

19) After registering you will see a message about the chosen program and repeated information about

the requirements for candidates. Make sure you have the grades from the required subjects in your school-leaving certificate. Click the SAVE button.



20) Now you can proceed to step (4).: Send a photo for your electronic student card.

21) Read the instructions carefully before adding the photo. There are some restrictions on the size of the picture. An image larger than the specified dimensions will not be added to the application. ATTENTION! The picture must be formal, as if for a visa or passport. Otherwise, we will ask you to change the photo, which will slow down the admission process. After adding the photo, click SEND button.



22) If a photo is successfully added, the appropriate message will appear, as well as a view of the student ID. Return to the My account tab.

23) Now you can proceed to step (5). Print required documents.

24) At this stage you must download and print out the application form generated from your data. Enter the date on the application form, sign and paste the photo (identical to the one uploaded to the system in the previous step).



25) Now print out and sign the other document (obligation):

Than return to the My account tab.

26) Proceed to the next step of application (6).: Upload your documents.



27) In this step, upload the documents. Add individual documents, giving them the appropriate names: passport,

application form and so on. ATTENTION! If you have a document that consists of more than one page - first combine them into one file, preferably in PDF format. Please upload the documents one after the other by selecting the file and clicking on the SEND button.

28) After uploading all of the required documents, go back to the My account tab.

29) Now you can proceed to step 7.: Registration fee.



30) Here you can find all the payment details. After making a bank transfer, upload the payment confirmation by clicking the Select file button and then the SEND button.

Now, wait until the transfer reaches the UŁ account. In the case of transfers from abroad, it takes 3-4 days. Only when the payment is posted, we will confirm it and you will be able to go to the next step.



31) After the payment has been confirmed, proceed to the next step (8).

32) Here you can send your application for processing.

Your application will be processed for a maximum of two weeks (14 calendar days). When the recruitment committee or faculty coordinator decide that on the possibility of study - you will receive a message in the system. If the decision is positive (the candidate is found eligible) - within two weeks (14 calendar days) you must pay the fee for the first year/semester of studies + 100 Euro as the second part of the registration fee. After posting the payment, a document about admission to the university will be sent and based on it you can apply for a visa/residence card.
