In Hastings Ranch we have shopping centers, grocery stores, dining, and a mix of various businesses serving our residents. We currently have many high-tech businesses on Sierra Madre Villa Avenue, and a new 150,000 square foot campus of General Motors Advance Design is being built. This will provide design and other high tech related future jobs to come into our District 4. South of the 210 freeway we have Home Depot, as well as the soon to open Amazon Fresh store on Colorado Blvd. We are well positioned for the many professional residents of our neighborhood commuting to work via the Gold Line Metro Station at Madre. In order to incorporate more of our neighborhood demographics, maintain communities of interest, geographically contiguous easily identifiable boundaries, and to increase the current district goal of an even (between each district) population of 20,000 I'd like to suggest the following (Please see attached PDF map) for districts of Pasadena: 07/31/2021 Correspondence submitted by Linda Moore, MBA

On July 1, 2021 I produce "Our Town", on the seventh [7th] the City website posted the city seat starting in themiddle extending east to the City's limit.

Then extending west to the two ten [210] Interstate Highways System [thank you President Eisenhower, goingnorth.

After listening and being present at five of the locations I have some revisions to make. I will present varioussubsections or constituencies which lead to the creation of Our Town.

Many of you I have spoken to in the last dozen years or so. Ms. Hamton broke with protocol by gathering yourbusiness cards.

More creations are on the way. If you choice not to receive these previews before they are posted on the City'swebsite, I understand you live very busy existences. But your input is necessary to strike a proper balanceamongst many neighbors.

You may contact me at [email protected] or this account. Or slow snail mail at

1355 North Mentor Avenue #40271Pasadena, CALIFORNIA 91104

Sincerely yours,

Hello City Clerk,

I live in District 5 - Received email notification from my Council woman regarding this evening Redistricting communityworkshop. I joined the zoom meeting late only able to view the archived recorded meeting of another district.

While it was interesting to learn about the tools and the process of redistricting, I find myself a homeowner of acondominium living on the fifth floor less neighborly with immediate surrounding blocks and streets in district 5. Since Ipay monthly homeowner association dues and recently learned of the Playhouse District assessment fees I don'tunderstand why the Playhouse District is not in the Story Map tool nor a Neighborhood Association.

Looking at the district boundary map, Lake at Walnut condominium appears to be near the boundary between district 3and district 5 on Lake Avenue. Why do Lake at Walnut homeowners pay for the Playhouse District assessments but not indistrict 3 where the Playhouse theater is? I also wonder if there is possibility to upgrade the Gold Line station on Lakeavenue, do Pasadena residents in district 5 have to fund or pay additional assessments, too?

The information in the map tools are a bit overwhelming for a Pasadena resident such as myself to analyze or to providemuch feedback. Wish to hear more from the Recfistricting Task Force so to understand more the history, make up,population of District 5 as well as District 3 and how boundaries are drawn at Lakeavenue south of 210 freeway near theMetro Gold Line Lake station.

Thank you,

Anne FokLake at Walnut
