A recognized medical qualification included in the first or Second Schedule orPart tt of the Third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications] to the

lndian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications

included in Part ll or the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions

stipulated in sub-section (3) ofSection (13) ofthe Indian Medical Council Act,

1955.

Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned Specialty as mentioned in

Section-A or Section-B ofSchedule-VI or equivalent(ii)

(b) General Dutv Medical Officer

(i) A recognized medical qualillcation included in the first or Second Schedule or

Part II of the Third Schedule (other than that licentiatc qualifications] to the

Indian Mcdical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications

includ-ed in Part II or the Third Schedules should also fulfill the conditions

stipulated in sub-Sections [3] of Section [13) of rhe Indian Medical Council

Act, 1956.

(ii) Completionofcompulsoryrotatinginternship.

(5) MedicalExamination

Immediately aftcr interview on thc same day the candidates will be medically

, examined by a Board of Medical Officers detailed by concerned Composite Hospital.

Appointment will be subject to medical lltness.

(6) Period ofContract

Total Period of Contract will be five years or L,ll thc appointce attains the age of 67

years. However initial Contractual Appointment will be for 3 years which may bo

extended for further 2 years on year to year basis subiect to the maximum age cap of67 years. Thereafter, thc contract will lapsc automatically. However, the

appointment can be terminated at any time by giving one month's notice [on citherside) without assigning any reason by paying/rcfunding onc month's salary.

'{71 No Extension beyond the stipulated five years will be given. However, there is no

bar on a contractual appointee applying afresh on compietion of 5 years tenure.

(8) Entitlement of Leave

The leave entitlement maybe governed in terms of DoP&T's OM No. 12016/3/ 84-

Estt(L) dated 12rh April 1985, as amended from time to time,

(9) The appointee shall not have any claim or right to regular appointment to any post

under CAPFs.

[10) The appointee shall be on whole timc appointmc,nt of the institution and shall notaccept any other appointmcnt, paid or otherwisc, during the period ofcontract.

(11) Other conditions ofcontract will be governcd by the relevant rules and order issucd

from time to time.

(iii) The advertisement will be valid for 01 year. Eligible candidates can submit theircandidature any time to concerned BSF Composite Hospital and walk-in-interview will be

arran8ed subiect to vacancy. While submitting the application, the candidate shouldmention/prioritize their choices of locations for appointment which will be taken intoconsideration while issuing offer of appointment.

(i"J In case of selection of more candidates for a particular location, waiting list will be

prepared in the order of meri! which will be valid for one year from the date of Publication

ofthe advertisement.

(v) In case vacancy is available in a particular location even after the interview, selected

candidates as per waiting list will be asked for their willingness forlocation.
