Heating & Cooling Information
The remainder of this form will be completed by Gulf Power and returned to you. Thank you. Notice: The following heat loss/heat gain calculation(s) is/are provided to assist the HVAC Contractor in properly sizing the heating and cooling equipment based on Northwest Florida Design Conditions (Summer: 95˚F Outdoor / 75˚F Indoor / 63˚F WB; Winter: 29˚F Outdoor / 70˚F Indoor) Do not size HVAC to meet ARI Design Conditions. HVAC Contractors should select equipment that, at a minimum, meets the sensible and latent load calculations below.

**HVAC SIZING CRITERIA - Units must be sized according to the
latest editions of ACCA “Manual J”, ASHRAE Handbook of
Fundamentals, or an equivalent load calculation procedure; in
addition to the appropriate HVAC Equipment Manufacturers
Specifications. Equipment performance must be no less than
calculated cooling sensible and latent loads @ local design
conditions, and not more than 15% over calculated loads. In
specifying equipment, the next available size may be used. In addi-
tion, indoor and outdoor coils shall be matched in accordance
with ARI standards.
