A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME AND SPACE PROGRAM A departure for the «Train of Happiness» at Rebecq (Bel-gium). A covered and open place designed for around thirty people, sitting or standing, waiting for the train.
Workshop Year 1 - Winter 2011Professor: Thierry Delcommune
PROPOSITIONA roof formed by ruled surfaces, materialized by wooden beams, supported by a wooden triangular.
The project seeks to materialize the dynamism (the spirit) of the place: the movement of the train, the meeting, the changing between the city and the nature, ...

HOUSING AT MECHELENWorkshop 3rd year - Autumn 2012
Professor: Philippe Honhon, Bernard MaquetCollaboration: Romina Naydenova, Éléonora Maggiore
The project comprises two phases: 1. Design a park crossing the plot
2. Design a set of 20 housing units
The park is designed as a set of trays of different materials (natural / mineral)
13
The design of housing units is centered on the issue of living together. Units are duplex served directly by the street or by a cursive. The entry of duplex, connects to circultation system via an «in-between» space. Each duplex consists of a day area on the first floor and a sleeping area on the second floor.
The whole project aim to create a common architectural lan-guage by the research in form and geometry.

HOUSING AT ANTWERPEN
Workshop 3rd year - Winter 2013Professor: Ariane Crane, Bernard MaquetCollaboration: Romina Naydenova, Éléonora Maggiore
15
Programs: Set of 300 housing units in Antwerp with a great mix of housing 2, 3, 4 bedrooms or studio.
The project seeks to rethink the viability of housing via multiple solutions: duplexes served by cursive detached from the façade at the first level, with terraces on the 2nd level. The alternation of cursive and terraces allows at the same time a frienly ambiance of the circulation and an intimacy between the public and private area.

L’abri est composé de deux modules de bases. Le tressage permet la création de surfaces gauches, dont la paraboloïde hyper-bolique (PH) est un bon exemple.
The shelter consists of two basic modules. Braiding allows the creation of hyperbolic paraboloid curved surfaces

The project is a covered space for outdoor reading that takes the form of a staiways to imagination. The structure makes a continuity with the neighbor roof shape. The overall composition give the looks of an unfinished building, which continues to evolve over time ...

E(X)CHANGERethinking transport axis as interation axis Rethinking transport axis as interation axis
PROGRAMMEThe workshop focuses on the issues of the landscape fragmented by the presence of the highway A20 in suburbs of Montreal. The project is a new in-termodal station that facilitate pedestrian traffic from one mode of transport to another. Located in a strategic point between 3 neighborhoods Lachine, Cotes-Neiges-Notre Dame-de-Grâce and LaSalle, the new station is designed to be a place of exchange, and why not, a meeting point which reconciles neighborhoods of the suburbs.
The project remains conceptual: we are encouraged to profit Rhinos as 3D model and to work on the concept (shape and meanings).

CONCEPT// Building as indication
SEARCHING FOR A FORM
Method: Use of various materials, approach to boost the work-flow. The workshop also requires the learning of Rhinoceros 3D
The building is intended as an «intuitive guide» for users. Based on the main passenger flows, entrances, the platforms are designed to make the circulation in the building as intuitive as possible.
Building consists of platforms that blend with the existing slope. The two reversed upward movements shape a hall, a place of ultimate interaction.

WORKSHOP PIERRE THIBAULT CONSTRUCTION OF MODEL 1:1 Autumn 2013
At the occasion of the workshop of Pierre Thibault at the School of Architecture at the Université Laval, after an idea contest for 2 weeks, students were invited to build 6 wooden box 3x3x3m with a perchoire.
The boxes are built at workshop, then assembled at Gaspé-sie (Canada). Its also takes part, later, of an exhibition at the School of Architecture.
The workshop give students opportunity to understand deeply what he/she draw: what materials, how does it works, what’s the best way to use it. It’s an extremely rare as expe-riences one can have as architecture student.
