The first method with a direct contact between the liquid and the skin allows a constant penetrating temperature of

-89° C (-128°F).

The Cryosuccess is a simple and effective handheld device using nitrous oxide cartridges instead of liquid nitrogen (LN2)

• No storage difficulties associated with LN2

• No transportation difficulties associated with LN2

• No LN2 associated costs

Each cartridge holds approx 300 seconds of gas and is fitted with a secure safety valve to reduce excess pressure when removing the cartridge from the body.

Gas loss is minimal at 1% per year even after the cartridge has been initially used.

The Cryosuccess has interchangeable gold-plated tips for maximum effectiveness and sterilisation

The Cryosuccess tips feature a micro capillary for a constant temperature of -89°C

The 1mm tip provides pin-point accuracy and is ideal for smaller lesions or lesions in delicate areas such as around the eyes

The 4mm tip is specifically designed for larger lesions offering greater efficiency

The most significant advantage of the Cryosuccess is the ability to have the device available during normal surgery times and not just in special freezing clinics.This means that the patient’s journey is much shorter and we can provide more flexible appointments.

Each cartridge seems to last approximately 1 month during which time we will have seen 20 patients administering 15-30 seconds of freezing.

The Cryosuccess is better than the older device and there is no wastage of gas when changing the cartridge with the Cryosuccess. I am very pleased with it.
