OUR HOMEWORK POLICY

• Homework is key to quality teaching, learning and

assessment – it reinforces learning and provides

feedback to teachers and students on the

understanding and progress of the learners

• Homework develops self-management competencies

such as study skills, responsibility and time

management

• The quantity of homework assigned takes into

account the holistic developmental needs of the

Crescentian and the competing demands on her time

least 3 years of participation in any CCA

Rationale • To enable our young to better deal with social trends and changing

values, to equip them with the knowledge, skills and values that

will enable them to make wise, informed and responsible

choices for themselves.

relationships through the acquisition of social and emotional
