Mr Davis Falsarella Project Manager Planning Design and Development displayed an historic poster of Alderlea provided an overview of the Phase 1 restoration work and outlined the proposed timelines for completion of Phase 1

He referenced a report considered at the Committee of Council meeting of June 16 2010 with respect to the concept design for Alderlea and advised that the report is available for viewing on the Citys website
Mr Falsarella indicated that a public notice on the restoration of Alderlea is to be circulated in the near future to all stakeholders including City Council Brampton Heritage Board Members neighbouring residents etc
Board consideration of this matter included
bull Condition of the building foundation and overall structure bull Fundingbudget for the project bull Request that Board Members be given a tour of Alderlea prior to the
start of Phase 2 restoration work
bull Potential future uses for Alderlea
bull Indication that a formal presentation will be made to the Board in 2011 with respect to Phase 2 restoration work
bull Role of the Boards sub-committee that was established to deal with
the acquisition of furniture and fixtures for Alderlea
