2nd Semester Brochure — Term 4 update
If you’re new to the Stawell area and it’s surrounds, then welcome.
New faces and new energy are always welcome.
Second semester has some new activities, and some on-going
ones as well. Computer courses, art-based activities, and
fitness classes are some of the things on offer in the new semester.
Room & equipment hire, and administrative services also are
offered at reasonable prices as well. The friendly staff are available
weekdays from Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Enrol as soon as you can. Classes only go ahead with numbers!

Publisher, PowerPoint & Picture Manager
(An ACFE funded pre-accredited program)
This course will teach you all about how to create presentations and newsletters
using these Microsoft Applications. Evening classes available if required.

Computers for the Terrified (An ACFE funded pre-accredited program)
This 10 week beginners course will introduce people to the basics of comput-
ers .

Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety (SITXFSA101)
Incorporating basic Food Hygiene principles with both the workplace and home environ-ments in mind, this course will help you to

Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA)

A two hour tuition class every Monday evening in Life Drawing with the
mediums of charcoal & inks.

If you’re into crocheting, knitting, spinning, weaving, felting, or embroi-dery, then this social event is for you!

Lifestyle
Sour Dough Bread Baking Workshop
Come along to learn to bake your own sour dough bread. Take home your own
culture to make your own bread at home. All ingredients supplied. Bring along a
container about 2 cup size to take home your culture.

Tai Chi
Promoting harmony in mind & body, suppleness, improved mobility and mental
alertness, join local Tai Chi instructor Karen Dudley for an hour long session of
tranquil, calm and gentle movement.

Includes a visit from “Little Green Wag-on” , launch of the local ‘Eat my Street’

Crochet Group - “Chain Gang”
Learn the basics or explore more technical aspects of crochet. Learn new stiches,

Cooking for Singles—Grains & Pulses
Come and cook lunch with Andrea, and have enough to take home for another

Calling all writers! Poets, prose, fiction, & non-fiction, come on down to the Power-
