What is this trip?

• Going on a tour is not a “vacation”. It’s a trip full of activity.

• This is an adventure tour.• You must be able to travel through “tough

terrain”. • You don’t have to be “in shape” but you have

to tolerate walking/climbing at times.

Adventure Tour• An adventure tour is not a typical “sight seeing

tour”• This is more of an interactive tour • Most time spent out in the wild life of the

country– Hiking in forest (some parts are steep)– Zip lining– Waterfall climbing

Hiking in the rain forest• We will travel through the rain forest seeing

the native ecosystem – Thousands of plants and vegetation

• We will travel through the forest to the natural therapeutic hot springs.– We will have time to spend in the springs

• Our hotel will have a pool • For the cost of the trip we get: – All tours– All admissions– 3 meals a day– Free day at the beach

• Shopping seems limited as so much of our day will be spent doing adventure activities.

How to make the trip happen?

• You have 12 months to pay for the trip. • Monthly payments is the easiest! • Fundraising is available, but don’t expect to

pay for the entire trip with fundraising. • We will have regular meetings to be sure

you’re comfortable with travel and understand expectations.

• Thursday 5/15 @ 3:00• This meeting will last about 45 minutes. • I will give you more specific information about

enrolling and what to expect. • This meeting is for those who are serious

about going on the trip.
