NOTE: Nursing Students: A student wishing to transfer to one of our undergraduateprograms before completion of a nursing curriculum in another shcool must have his/hercourses and competencies evaluated on an individual basis. When a student hascompelted a program qualifying him/her for the LPN or RN license, then the followingstatemetns apply:
1. An individual who completes an LPN program in any state=approved school ofnursing, holds an LPN license in Arkansas, and completes the prerequisites tisqualified to apply for the LPN-RN program. This allows entry inot the associatedegree program and compeltion of the AASN degree in three (3) academic sememsters.
2. An individual who completes an associate degree or diploma program in any state-approved accredited school of nursing, holds an RN license in Arkanss, and completesthe preerequiste courses is qualified to apply for the RN-BSN program. Credit isgiven for sophomore level BSN courses, and junior level credit may be earned byarticulation after entry to the senior level. If the applicant=s associatedegree/diploma was earned more than five (5) years before entry into the senior level,junior year courses must be challenged by examination.
