Applicable to both Low Impact  andHigh Impact Contractors.

Agilent Technologies has registered all manuacturing sites to the *!6 <=,,<4nvironmental 7anagement !ystem based on the Agilent Technologies Corporate4nvironmental ealth & !aety 7anagement !ystem. To maintain this

registration sites are required to demonstrate strong commitment toenvironmental regulatory compliance resource conservation and pollutionprevention. Contractors are an integral part o this *!6 <=,,< certifcation e>ort.

 Thereore Agilent Contractors are e#pected to ully support and cooperate withthese e>orts.

2.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Applicable to both Low Impact  and High Impact Contractors.

2.1 R:u3tor9 Co$3!n The Contractor and !ub"Contractor personnel shall(• 4nsure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations o any

governmental entity or sovereign authority that pertain toenvironmental health and saety standards and$or work practices.

 This would include developing and implementing appropriate ob"specifc 4! programs.

• Correct unsae work practices conditions and regulatory violationscommitted by Contractor and !ub"Contractor personnel.

• :otiy the Agilent 1roect 7anager$ost o conditions or practicesound on site that could result in serious inury property damage or

environmental damage.

*n the event o a medical emergency and when an infrmary clinic orhospital is not in reasonable pro#imity to an Agilent site the Contractor isresponsible or providing trained frst aid responders and adequate frst aidsupplies per local urisdiction. The Contractor doesn;t have to have on"sitefrst aid capabilities but they must have a process that doesn;t rely onAgilent.

7any Agilent sites have trained emergency responders who may respond tomedical emergencies. owever Agilent 4mergency esponse Teams maynot be available during all work hours or on weekends and holidays.

2.* E+ut!on%1

All Contractor and !ub"Contractor personnel must know the evacuationalarm signals emergency evacuation routes and evacuation

assembly$staging areas or their primary work locations. 'hen the buildingalarm sounds or notifcation is given all individuals 7B!T evacuate.

2.- In!dnt R$ort!n:All incidents resulting in inuries that require medical treatment 2i.e. morethan frst aid3 and property damage or near miss incidents that couldhave resulted in serious inury or property damage must immediately bereported to the Agilent 1roect 7anager$ost in writing or via email. A copyo the completed incident report must be given to the Agilent 1roect7anager$ost within =D hours.

2.2 R$ort o8 InBur!%

 The contractor shall report to the Agilent 1roect 7anager $ost all work"related inuries and illnesses involving Contractor$!ubcontractor workersthat require medical treatment 2i.e. more than frst aid3 as soon as theContractor obtains knowledge o such incident.

 The Contractor is also responsible or maintaining records o lost time andrestricted time that result rom work"related inuries or illnesses sustainedby its workers or subcontractor workers assigned to work at Agilent. Theserecords shall be available or inspection upon request by Agilent within thescope o applicable data privacy regulations.

 The Contractor is responsible or immediately notiying the appropriate

regulatory agencies or related governmental entities or sovereignauthorities and$or insurance carrier as required by country or local

 urisdiction o any occupational inury or illness involving thecontractor$subcontractor workers. The contractor is urther responsible orcompleting and submitting any reports or other records required by theabove notifcations.

!ubcontractor personnel on Agilent property or those that involve Agilentemployees or property damage will be investigated ointly by theContractor the Agilent 1roect 7anager$ost and a member o the Agilent4! sta> when available.

2.6 H5rd R$ort!n:Any identifed hazards discovered by the contractor that is beyond theirability and$or responsibility to f# must be immediately reported to theAgilent 1roect 7anager$ost or immediate corrective action.

2.7 Er:n9 Eu!$nt A%%Access to emergency equipment 2including electrical panels3 must be kept

clear at all times 2e.g. fre e#tinguishers emergency showers $ eyewashstations alarm pull stations 74T bo#es A49;s 4T equipment wheelchairs etc.3.

4mergency 4quipment must not be removed or relocated without approvalrom an Agilent 1roect 7anager.

2.10 InBur9 I33n%% #r+nt!on #ro:r " S8t9 #ro:r The contractor shall develop and maintain all appropriate saety programsor inury and illness prevention programs or its workers assigned to Agilent.!uch programs shall include training that is appropriate to the general typeo work which Contractor;s worker is to perorm and shall adhere to all

regulatory requirements.

2.11 S8t9 Eu!$nt1rior to commencement o an assignment contractor will assure thatcontract and subcontract personnel are outftted with all appropriatepersonal protective equipment 21143 that is issued or the specifc person2e.g. steel"toed shoes and prescription saety glasses with side shields3 andappropriate Egeneral issueF 114 2e.g. hearing protection and non"prescription saety glasses3 and 114 or site specifc hazards 2e.g.respirators and laser eye protection3.

2.1' Corrt!+ At!on #ro%% The Contractor must implement a process to track closure o any correctiveactions identifed as a result o an incident investigation compliance auditor non"conormance with our 4nvironmental ealth & !aety 7anagement!ystem.

acilities. !moking is not permitted inside any building or structure nearany building entrances near air intakes or common paths o travel.!moking is only allowed in designated outdoor E!76G*:H A4A!F.

2.1* En+!ronnt3 H3t< & S8t9 Tr!n!n: The Contractor is responsible or ensuring all o its employees andsubcontractors have the proper training with regard to environmentalhealth and saety and are competent to perorm their ob unctions atAgilent work sites. Contractor will participate in any limited training o>eredby Agilent to ensure that Contractor employees and subcontractors areamiliar with Agilent;s products saety procedures and environmentalrequirements etc. The Contractor will make a copy o the content o their

training available to Agilent upon request. Agilent may provide theContractor with a copy o Agilent;s training content or comparisonpurposes. The Contractor is not allowed to use any material with theAgilent name or logo unless authorized by Agilent.

 Training e#pectations or contractors working at non"B.!. Agilent sites arecovered by the paragraph above and local country regulations. Additionalinormation on the training e#pectations or contractors working at Agilentsites in the B.!. are contained in Appendi# 9.

2.1- L!n%% " #r!t% The Contractor must ensure all contractor and subcontract personnel have

the required licenses or permits or the work they perorm.

Agilent defned gowning protocol must be ollowed in areas sensitive tocontamination 2e.g. laboratories biotech labs etc.3.

2.14 #r>!n: " TrAll tra5c rules must be obeyed while on Agilent properties including stopsigns yield signs parking restrictions pedestrian crosswalks and postedspeed limits.

2.16 U% o8 Eu!$nt " V<!3% The Contractor must provide their own tools equipment and vehicles. Alltools and equipment must be clearly label with ownership identifcation.
