Biography

Course DirectorLaura Goldstein, MDMedical Director, Stroke Program Lake Forest Hospital

Dr. Gulson was recently awarded the Ron W. Lee, MD - Excellence in Pediatric Care Award, being recognized for her dedication to pediatric emergency care and childhood injury prevention initiatives. Dr. Gulson is equally active in community service and serves as the founder and chairman of Helmet, a community safety initiative to reduce acute brain trauma by promoting the use of protective head gear during competitive and recreational sports. She is also currently involved with the Boy Scouts of America as a medical director and a member of the Teen Crisis Task Force.

• Review the diagnosis and management of gestational hypertension and preeclampsia.

• Review the updated guidelines from the "Task Force on Hypertension in Pregnancy."

Dr. Kristin Dolling attended medical school at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics Gynecology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Dr. Dolling is a Fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Dolling is an OB Hospitalist for Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group.

Micah W. Garb, MD Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Micah Garb has been in private practice since 2004. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned his medical degree at Georgetown University Medical School and completed his residency at Prentice Women's Hospital of Northwestern. Dr. Garb is the North Regional Medical Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology for Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group.
