Para se mexer:

Superlative form: the adjectives are used to describe an object which is the upper or lower limit of quality.

Jessy is the tallest in class. Jessy é a mais alta na turma.)

We have 4 rules to use the comparative form:1st - We add the ST/EST in all the short adjective: the smallest / the fastEST / the highEST

My car is the fastEST.

2nd - When the adjective has the three last letters: CVC-consonant/vowel/consonantWe double the last letter and add EST: the bigGEST / the hotTEST

Today is the hotTEST day in the year.

3rd - We When the adjective ends with Y we take it and add the IEST: the pretTIEST / the funNIEST

We are the crazIEST girls at school.

4th - When the adjective is considered big or with more than 7 letters we write THE MOST: the most confident / the most boring

Exceptions:

good - the best

bad - the worst
