Connecting the world with Australia’s best visual artists for more than 20 years
Representing more than 50 of Australia’s leading contemporary and Indigenous artists across 3 Sydney gallery spaces, they are Australia’s pre-eminent art gallery group. The directors of Wentworth Galleries take great pride in working with such talented artists and great pleasure in procuring artworks that will be admired and appreciated for generations to come. While there is certainly a division of category & genre between Australian European style painting and Aboriginal art, that division can be unwarranted from a curatorial sense in our art gallery. We present Australia’s best artists, regardless of genre and strive to showcase the very best examples of their work. Our flagship gallery in the heritage listed space at One Martin Place and our gallery at 61 Phillip Street (established 1996) carry a balanced mixture of both genres hung together, often to great effect. With the right help you can find the perfect piece of art for your collection. At Wentworth Galleries, we go to great lengths to make your art buying experience the pleasure that it should be. Our staff are passionate, easy to talk with and love nothing more than finding the right work for you. There is no better, more affordable way in which to beautify and enrich your home and your life than with a well selected piece of art. We offer an industry only 2 year exchange guarantee on all work we sell.
Wentworth Galleries represent many of Australia’s most loved and highly sought after artists. More than 30 years experience in the art world gives gallery
director and founder, Maria Aitken access to the best works by Australia’s leading artists.
